  2. agree, fully answers op.
  3. One of the aims for the fixtures is to give teams a local game on Boxing Day. This is to help with Christmas travel for fans. If you look at http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/eng_div_2/predictor/default.stm and scroll to Boxing Day you will see that, although not derbies most are fairly reasonable travelling. Exeter fans will still have a fair trek so guess the 3pm is to make it easier for them,
  4. league goals
  5. Storrie guest on talksport tonight - maybe about now
  6. in fact, also joint top scorer for the country, only other player with 11 in all top four divisions is Chopra in CCC.

  8. still don't quite get how a midfield of Lallana, Mellis, Schneiderlin, Hammond and Papa is defensive? the midfield AP used when changed to 4/3/3 or 4/5/1 and we starting improving our performances
  9. it is, but the op was a criticism
  10. it is critical - which is up to anyone who wants to complain about Pardew but you cannot say its not! Funny how we suddenly starting averaging 3 goals a game with this defensive tactic. True tho a team based on a midfield of Lallana, Mellis, Schneiderlin, Hammond and Papa is always going to be defensive! lol! Makes me wonder if those who are saying they don't like have seen our use of it?
  11. definately more than possible / achieveable. Will be hard and won't be surprised if form drops. Simply put, ever since we have had this team - with signings etc - form has been good enough to get us into playoff battle.
  12. changing to a 4/3/3 type formation a few weeks ago coincided exactly with our improved performance. Pardew seems to use both to vary the game. Simply put - its working, current form shows that, so I am happy. If I was manager would probably opt for simpler 4/4/2 but he knows better!
  13. weekly update still third best team over last 6 games behind Millwall and Norwich. 13 points from 6 2.2 points per game for last 6 (actually longer) to hit 69 points and there abouts for play offs need 57 from remaining 31 games, 1.8 points per game.
  14. haven't we heard this quote from Hart a few times now "Manager Paul Hart, whose side face Wigan at Fratton Park today, said: “I am assured everything will be sorted out soon.” http://www.mirrorfootball.co.uk/news/Portsmouth-in-new-crisis-as-club-fails-to-pay-60-staff-their-wages-article205805.html
