agree with that, others are losing which is a bad habit. Wotte (similar to last season) has made us hard to beat - only defeat recently 1-0 to 2nd in division.

even in the last 4 when our form has dropped off its still been better than others. I am sure Notts F and Plymouth fans will see they have gone 3 straight defeats, and be thinking even if we keep drawing for our game in hand we will ahead of Notts F and only 2 points behind Plymouth -with 6 games left and their teams fading. Don't think they will be confident at all. Not that I am either! But still have hope

going by the last 3 games, a point per game seems to be our form. Still if us, Plymouth and Notts Forest keep to the form of the last 3 games, a point a game will give us 3 to spare!

keep going back to the run in thread - everytime our target changes hugely!

I agree there is nothing (apart from the positive blip a few weeks ago) to suggest we will pull a run together, but if we stay up I think it will be with not huge amount of points more than we have now - there is nothing to say that the other teams are going to string a series of wins together. We are now hard to beat - the only defeat in last 7, a one nil away to team in 2nd. My hope is that the form the others are in, the target may not be as high as thought a few weeks ago and odd win and draws will do it.

post is meant to be bit of interest/fun to those who want to talk about it, ignored if not - not every post has to be insulting/negative. As for your second paragraph you are just, once again, making things up to play to your pantomime villain image. why - I am sure of you were a fan of theirs, with their debt etc you would be talking about administration, all players leaving, owner cashing in on sales not re-investing etc and perhaps concerned about how portsmouth would do?

depends how much they need to pay off their debts - if they lose a whole first team and have to use any cash raised to pay debts they may not be strong. But at least they will be able to stage world cup finals in their stadium!
