    After the game

not condoning it by saying there was laughter, as am sure if police allowed two sides to meet it would have got ugly, but there were loads of younger fans / male and female laughing and enjoying a show.
  2. more people who support the new owner the better - we have had our fill of division, however previous shareholders are pretty irrelevant now

    After the game

thats about it. Most were saints fans laughing and enjoying the show - with dozen or so away fans mouthing off behind line of police with odd -young- saints fans taunting them.
  8. Wotte was moaning to linesman about decisions Ref came to speak with him Parkinson came into Wotte's technical area and started mouthing off other coaching staff got involved Wotte pushed Parkinson away from his area towards Charlton tech area both got sent to stands
  9. Administrator on radio said he has been pleased with interest so far There is a danger of time wasters due to the interest in owning a football club so at early stage and before any discussions he is insisting interested parties prove their funds and intentions. Lowe has told him he will not be party to any consortium. Crouch and LMc not involved in any of the interested parties.

  11. lets not rush in for the first billionaire!
  12. feeling so positive about him I'm going to quote myself just to give it a bump and hope everyone going today knows about it!
  13. Kelvin Davies is a real Saint. Couple of years ago met him, he was busy but spent time talking and joking with my children, posing for photos despite my youngest playing up -he was a gent. His professionalism and committment has been fautless for saints - even when being criticised. Without him, we would be relegated already this season - and possibly bust already. and now, in an era of greedy footballers he is putting the club, younger players and fans first. Thank you Kelvin - always a saint.
  14. David Van Day?
  15. the issue to me is there is a rule that protects clubs who are owned by a company that goes bust but not neccessarily due to the football club -possibly, although I can't remember the facts, West Ham. this is a written rule whether points are deducted is decided by these rules saints plc did have a range of business interests -as we have often criticised on here. This structure wasn't suddenly set up as per leeds to wriggle out of a points deduction. sure the club are trying to use it for their advantage. no-one is suggesting the plc isn't anything to do with the team, nor not closely linked but the rules - on our superficial level of knowledge - suggest that we are not trying to bend the rules but seeking them applied to the letter.
  16. hates football!
  17. buy yourself a ticket, buy for friends and your children - show the players that SFC means something to us not just a plc disappearing. Trying to persuade my children that this is more important than a friends party!
  18. think you are a bit presumptuous starting this thread. You should have asked first.
  19. I personally asked two board members about this - it was viewed as a loan
  20. totally agree -this is the hugely significant point for me. it is quite ironic, if these loss making/ distractions save us!
  21. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/sport/saints/news/4257530.Saints_to_use_Jackson_s_Farm_to_escape_points_deduction_/ and are looking to use it to escape points deduction
  22. think that fair - as others have clarified the debts are not the clubs but they suffer so in effect need them reduced to survive
  23. on radio solent, asked if likely he would come back leading a rescue package said it was unlikely as he didn't have the money and no-one has spoken to him. Went on to say if anyone out there wants him to help their bid in any way he will and he will do anything he can to save saints. pleaded with fans to sell out last three games.
  24. it may well be - as said above my £20m was a guess
  25. the club is worthless. the buyer would need to make/show the club can be viable. at the moment we are not to be viable the debts have to be manageable - not cleared the size of the debts could well be renegotiated / restructured. The short answer is I don't know! But probably neither does anyone else, it will be down to the administrators to look at the debts and any potential buyer to come up with a plan to go forward. My guess is the club will be available for nominal fee - often £1 - but able to reduce mortgage and overdraft to a level div 1 football could sustain -possibly with injection of £20-30million
