Not sure if its on here somewhere but the leader of the council was on talksport the other day being interviewed following the story about the works of art being used to buy save saints. if it was true, in my opinion, we would be owned by PA now. It all points to him never having heard of us and having no interest in buying us.

think most of the debate was where on a scale from doing ok/pretty good to being a legend he was. Some were placing his achievements as a saints legend - few possibly. Most think he did pretty well and should have stayed. Cannot remember anyone saying he was crap. Think the **** take was over some ott compliments rather than knocking him.

think outside the box? We don't have the info of where the box is! I said its a simplistic view but the more money someone offers is one measurement of their intent, maybe you should think about what I said before writing it off

he dealt with Bournemouth as administrator as well

if it was that clear cut it would have been done already. Its not. We clearly escape by the rules and precedent but the league are looking at whether we deliberately set up a scheme to avoid it.

very simplistic view is those who can out bid are those who a) want it more b) have more backing therefore not bad starting point. I know its far too simplistic but without seeing the various presentations what else can we go on?

turned it on after started as didn't want to hear him -but curiosity got the better of me! expected deflecting of blame - read acounts, bank etc came across bit better than I expected tho

great support, I went with a colleague, who mainly goes to non-league out of our area, but also premiership games for variuos teams in London - he was amazed at our passion, Proud of Saints.

still not one consortium gone public nor a single decent rumour....strange??

Thought DMG had a very good game - really up for it, working hard and looked class on the ball. Great support, much better spirit from team

find it strange that despite administrator confirming multiple parties interested there is not a single group confirming interest (can see why they wouldn't) not a single strong rumour.

so in summary..... .....we have neither and are in administration.

he didn't -factual. I tried to give a blow by blow report to keep up rather than my views. My view; he came across pretty well. definitely passionate and wants to save the club. he has personally given £50k to save the club he tried to stay on the line on not slagging off the others - and stuck to it most of the time. The only bit he couldn't argue - not his fault - was why we should give to pay millionaire footballers. only negative bit - he clearly was quickly rattled when the caller said that only a few weeks ago you were publicly saying you would give £2m to save the club - now we need 1/4 of that, why don't you save the club then ask fans to pay you back. Thought he reacted very quickly to this, negatively. And despite saying his line is not to talk about the others said that they should pay, he has done enough with the £50,000. To be fair that is £50,000 more than I intend to give! Although I have not been talking about giving £2m. On the whole came across pretty well and seems to trying to raise this £500k as an outsider as a charity gesture rather than a consortium.
