Having just read up on Tisdale's record as a manager it appears pretty faultless! Much depends on the new owners approach to rebuilding

I have been going to football regularly( for over 3 decades), watching the same games, soccer am, motd etc as everyone else -but I couldn't picture him when it was announced and rang another saints season ticket holder -who has another 10 years on me and he didn't have a clue who he was - guess our football knowledge is poor!

(but of course anyone could have won that league with the likes of Oakley!)

virtually no-one wanted him appointed, virtually no-one thought it was a good appointment. virtually no-one thinks he did badly here. Most agree he did somewhere between pretty good to good. virtually no-one wanted him sacked and replaced by JP. Virtually all of us wanted him to be given a close season to take the team forward. all must have agree that he has done well this season.

when someone approaches a club to buy them out it takes time - and that is when someone has been thinking about it in their own time, sorting out loans, finances, business plans etc. Suddenly we go into administration and people are asked to bid. They would not have been sat there with cash and business plans waiting just in case. There have been too many charletons buying, or trying to buy, football clubs who have later been shown not to have the funds or credibility to take a club forward. I have no idea how long this should take, but am not surprised at all that it hasn't happened yet. I would rather the administrator is sure who is buying, and they are the best people, rather than grabbing the first offer.

Kelvin can be proud of his season. James, DMG, Perry and Skacel have done ok. Surman and Lallana have disappointed. Can't say I am disgusted at any of them, Euell's finishing has been appalling but he has worked. Others have shown lack of form and confidence, but with better players around them and more stability behind them it would have been different.

relegation, administration, even points deduction are character building!...

when we were relegated from premiership I stopped looking forward to seeing any particular opposition team, and rarely knew more than one player in their side. going to the first isn't really going to be that different than this season in many ways - apart from you are always at least one more year away from premiership (in that in ccc you can always console yourself that all you need is one Hull type season and you are back in premiership)

which ones are you disgusted with? Kelvin, James, Skacel, Perry, Seijs, Wooton, Surman, Lallana, DMG, euell or Saga? Which one do you think didn't want to be better and wanted us to go down?

Morph, Don't mean to be antagonistic, we have had far too much of that. But I am, like most crying out for news, honestly can't remember you ever giving any? If you have I apologise and please remind me? Do tend to feel you enjoy teasing and building yourself up as having a source but not actually been shown as coming up with the goods. If it is teasing and bit of fun, fair enough - equally if I have forgotten good info from you I am sorry. But all I remember is lots of hints that come to nothing, apart from you being outspoken at the end of last season when you did give clear info - that Lowe/Cowen definately were not coming back - and they did. what has you source ever actually given you???? Can't remember anything apart from that Lowe wasn't coming back!

think the list is those paying at least £1000, certainly Crouch has said his was higher and the channel islands guy was 10 times that.
