At 400% zoom it still isn't conclusive unless the left edge of the ball is flat. It was too close to call, looks over but even that photo doesn't prove it. I go with the official. In any event justice was done because the shooter was offside and the linesman didn't flag when he became active.
-
Last night the official was the only person who was in a perfect position to see if the whole of the ball was over the line.and he judged it not completely over the line. The tv pictures were not at the perfect angle and were not absolutely conclusive but it looked over but it is unproven. The Lampard goal/Tottenham v MU goal were well over. I am prepared to accept the official didn't see all of the ball behind the post, consequently didn't give a goal.

Global warming really is happening... (well, duh!)

I am willing to accept HONEST research set out HONESTLY, completely, not selectively, or opinion that is presented as such. I find some of the dishonesty and biased reporting is putting off people like myself who are sceptical about the motives of the scientists. The parts of the world that matter, India, China, Russia, Brazil patently aren't caring. We are a pimple on the earth so why are we bothering, if the real problems including the US aren't bothering. We are damaging our economy by a hysterical adherence to green policies that make no real difference. I think we in the UK should drop it until the real problem is addressed by the real culprits, as our sacrifices are just gesture politics with little or no effect on the alleged global warming. -
They would be bloody daft to do any deal.

Even if they liquidate PFC 2010, the remaining PPs will be there. The players debt will be a football creditors debt so the PPs would be used to cover that. In any event the contracts are taken over by the FA as far as I can make out. There would be no asset value in the liquidation.

OK, I have to accept there really is a 'looney' left.....

If they want equality let them stand up for it. -
Isn't he injury prone?

If anybody knows someone at the Chilworth Manor Hotel they might be able to check whether he stayed/ or is there in the last couple of days. Somebody who works there told a mate that he was there.

Whatever you are on, isn't working.

They could sell Foster and Butland and get Myhill possibly.

At 19 there is a bit of leeway there but now that involved at England senior level I would expect him to go where he is going to play. I rate KD as a shotstopper and I think he will get plenty of opportunity to practice that this year. However I don't rate his dealing with crosses, command of the box, communication and short distribution. He deserves first crack at keeping the spot but we need a better keeper to bring in if he doesn't step up to the plate. I've never seen Butland but there seems to be a few decent keepers on the market at the moment.

Maybe a look at the war cemetries with hundreds of thousands of Irish volunteers that died fighting in the British army in two world wars might change a few minds. Close to the French:lol:

Having tasted international fringe recognition he is not going to want to just bench warm. The fact he was recognised due to his performances on loan at Cheltenham would probably not rule out loans for him. His options appear to be first team at Birmingham, transfer to another Championship team or to a higher league as a genuine competitive first team option, or transfer to a top Premier side and loaned to a Premier/top Championship side. BC are not financially strong and may well cash in. Has a deal for Foster been done at WBA or is he also back at BC?
-
His son works closely with BFS in the first team staff at WHU. So he is not passing an opinion just stating 100% fact.
-
Hi Dave, Sorry about the shoulder. I believe it's all about money. We were never going for him at twice our cap. WHU weren't going to pay either. Decent keeper though.

I didn't need one, there were loads of direct phones in the airline offices where I was going to check the outbound load sheet.Although I had plenty of time I just didn't think it that significant. Saw it on TV that night.

I landed just after KK arrived at Sou and as I walked into the terminal the BA duty officer who was a friend/supporter came out and told me KK was with LM signing for Saints and on his way to the Potters Heron. Nobody ever thought of phoning anyone.

LLS still posts the odd time on here, with a Brazilian connection.

Tom McLaughlin, director at Air Partners isn't 19c. 19c was as VFTT says.

Only a certified nutter would give up guaranteed contracts of 750k to 2m and join a club on much reduced money. The PFA/League have to pick up the contracts if PFC goes under. It would be a scandal of monumental proportions if they persuaded the players to walk.
-
I don't know about more proven but to put it in perspective, Lambert 1m, Sharp 2m, Lee free .Hooper, Rhodes for a start. There are IMO probably 20 or more out there that could do a job for us below the top silly money bracket.
-
Cortese won't be messed about. He will pull the plug if he thinks he is being stalled and all parties are well aware he won't be going back if he does terminate discussions. Good as JR is I think we have bid more than he is worth. For that sort of money we are well in the market for a good striker.
-
Maybe HMRC should buy it, liquidate it and cover the cost with the tax that the players contracts would generate. They would also save themselves further losses when the whole thing goes tits up further down the line.
-
Martin was excellent defensively but was lacking in passing and constructive play. Joining a passing side like Palace will do him the world of good if he plays regularly.
-
To know that, he would have had a medical. As he doesn't seem to have had one yet, probably not true.
