I don't see it as an anti Lambert rant. He has every right to have doubts that Lambert not being that quick could hinder his ability to score against the stronger and often quicker premier defenders. I just think that he will play differently and being a smart footballer still get into dangerous positions especially in the space behind attacking full backs.

Who cares? £12m up front and £3m in add ons plus a sell on percentage.

Guly can do some outstanding first touch passes playing strikers in but not that often. What he does do often is to fail to control on the first touch and a large number of passes don't reach the target. Lambert has a good first touch and close control together with very good passing. Guly is quicker but Lambert is a lot smarter.

Technically Lambert is the most accomplished footballer in the team. He isn't the quickest but he has a sharp football brain. Maybe we would want to use him differently if Rodriguez is signed. He regularly drifts out wide, with Rodriguez, Lee and Sharp available maybe we are looking to keep it fresh up front by rotating the strikers and setting up in different ways rather than just 1/2 up front.

Premium bonds, max £30k per person, if there are two of you £60k. Pays out regularly multiple £25/£50 each month. The odd month it doesn't pay out. When you want, cash them in and get your money back.

Davis passes to centre back, to schneiderlin, back to centre back, back to Davis, boots it long under pressure.

Very likely only competitive matches, EU, WC.

The League of Ireland used corners to settle matches many years ago but long gone. Total goals scored to date in the competition at full time.

Is Supporters Direct a government funded (quango) organisation? If so it figures.

The expensive players under contract are obviously going nowhere unless they are paid up. The PPs due this year are probably already accounted for. There may be no return for Chanrai if the players stay or have to have their contracts paid up out of the outstanding PPs. It looks like the press of the panic button isn't that far away.

Under tax laws can HMRC refuse credit to employers and force them to pay the HMRC the deducted tax etc due each month before the salaries are actually paid out?
-
That sadly came to us as a way of getting rid of any Bale sell on money. Falque was another that we paid but didn't use.

Sounds like Brian Howard.

Jeez £6m for a player Spurs don't want. Anyone would think we were QPR with a death wish. Rodriguez, Hooper, Rhodes or similar are better bets.
-
Chanrai would need 75% of the vote to get CVA2 through. Sounds like a close run thing.
-
Nobody in their right mind would put it on here.

It had nothing to do with Cortese and Pardew falling out.

Bit of over reaction here Nick. Davis deserves the chance to play in the Premiership and lose his place if he can't perform provided we have competition. Bialkowski was no competition. Bogdan looked decent when he played here for Bolton and that's what I'm going on. If Davis was to be judged in the same way as you have judged Bogdan after some of the errors he has made in the past, he would be hard pressed to get in Salisbury's first team.

There was an incident after the Bristol Rovers game that led to the suspensions and subsequent terminations.

It wouldn't, many of the speculated targets are expensive, but unproven at Premier level. The real class is very expensive and I suspect way out of our salary expectations. Better to shop the best players we have played against in the last two years. With the possible addition of a couple of good foreign players.
-
Cortese took the only course available to him when he suspended Pardew and Downes. If Cortese makes the mistake of buying expensive and real class is very expensive we may well be back in the NPC next season. The spirit of this squad is still the backbone of any team we field, to get rid of Adkins after successive promotions would be crass. Norwich and Swansea showed the way manager and transfer wise and didn't pay silly money or salaries. QPR on the other hand chose the big name road and were nearly relegated. Last season Adkins organised a pre season that gave us a succession of wins for the first time in many years which ultimately was the difference in gaining automatic promotion. Liverpool, Aston Villa etc have shown that big names are no guarantee. The People have speculated rubbish for the last fifty years. Alex Pearce was out of order and hardly a confidant of Cortese. I'll stick to the OS as the official news confirmation of anything changing. I would like to think that Cortese will back Adkins.

As if we need a 32 year old to play 18 matches in three years. Bonkers:facepalm:

I think that if anything could have caused a problem between NA and NC it could be signings made by NC. Falque was signed but I understand Adkins didn't see him play until the Leicester game, and significantly never picked him again.
