  1. Pinnacle........fecking North London Yobbos.......
  2. Fair point but the truth of the matter is we have no evidence that the potential imposition of a further points deduction would be forthcoming, we are all making assumptions that this is the case. What i find hard to understand is that IF the whole basis of any takeover falls or fails because the "blazers" at the FL are on a point of "dodgy" principle, happy to see a club go out of existence then I should think all the other members would be more than a little worried about their future and the future of football in under their stewardship.
  3. Anyone remember the huge hyper market the coaches parked in and the inevitable trolley race round the car park.....priceless.
  4. If SFC are not inextricably linked with SLH why couldn't the footy club pay its staff yesterday? Rules is rules we know, but lets be honest we are not going to win the argument with the FL on the application of the rules when the reality of the situation is there for all to see. Take the points deduction, don't appeal take the club over and lets get selling those season tickets
  5. Just had a look see on the Sunday Times Rich list and he isn't on that so difficult to say whether he personally has wealth of hundreds of millions, maybe it is a consortium after all:smt102
  6. I am not sure what to make of the interview, talked a lot but said no more than we already know.....anywho, if he has the money and is prepared to spend it then hey ho bring it on.
  7. I agree re the CVA issue, it would seem crass and stupid to see a club slide into oblivion on the basis of scaraing off the new owners over an incorrect application of their own rules!!! The "blazers" at the FL need to seriously take a look at themselves and their rules and ask themselves are they fit and proper guardians of the peoples game, because it seems to me that they are doing the utmost to destroy it rather than protect it.
  8. Oh well not a surprise that the FL wouldn't grant a right of appeal as I am sure they have not actually applied their own rules correctly. I just feel so frustrated and angry that the League seem to be ready to see the demise of a football club just to get themselves out of a hole they dug themselves into.
  9. As we all know the law is fraught with technicalities that clever lawyers exploit to their clients benefit. When the points deduction was imposed even Fry was at pains to point out that it was the holding company and NOT the footy club that went into adminstration and that it was an incorrect decision by FL to impose the points penalty. If the case was that watertight why are the football league insisting that we should not go to the courts and why indeed do they now need an emergency meeting on Monday? Like many others have already said, if they are that convinced they are right let us have our day in court, lose the case and they can have their costs. Methinks they realise that the way the points penalty was imposed was not within their own rules and therefore a clever lawyer will make mincemeat of their decision. Just hope the deal goes through this last hitch has really ruined my day I was so looking forward to everything being done and dusted today:(
  10. £500 for League 1 footy
  11. I will, can't wait
  12. Not necessarily, it could be that the creditors are getting more "adventurous" with what they will settle for and are upping the ante.
  13. It's the usual case of who will blink first, mind you the delay and not knowing is killing me!](*,)
  14. Not if he has to use his own money he won't!
  15. Couldn't beat a carpet! Just hope whoever becomes the new owner has deep pockets
  16. I hope your businesses and personal wealth mirror what you have done for this great club.
  17. I totally agree TNT how Dave Jones has kept his job beggars belief!:smt119
  18. Oh dear it looks horrible already. Ruperts legacy.......
  19. Think the thing that has hurt Lowe more than anything is having "failed" on his CV and damaging his so called "business" reputation amongst his peers (if he believes he has any!). He will need to get his rather blinkered views across not just to appease his own ego but more likely to explain publicly to his "City Slicker" chums that it wasn't his fault and that the blame lies elsewhere. I can't begin to consider a third return of Lowe in any shape or form that would be the ultimate nightmare:(
  20. Jeez, all that is missing is the theme tune to Laurel and Hardy!!
  21. 1) "The Importance Of Being Rupert" 2) No Chance
  22. It's good to be going back, come on you Red & White Machine
