Saints 0 Watford 2 - Match & Meltdown
Strangely Brown replied to Secret Site Agent's topic in The Saints
I agree I was at a complete loss trying to work out what the system was and the players look like they are still trying to work it out themselves. No bones about that was poor today very poor indeed -

Allegedly Iniesta looking at other options than Barca, not our profile I guess but could easily do role knitting the midfield to forward line. Yeah I know... but if only -
I have always tried to see the positives with JWP but last night did it for me, if his first touch isn't a tackle then his second third and fourth touch normally is. He is too slow in moving the ball on or picking a team mate in an advanced position. Sad but he's not offering much else than his deadball delivery and we can't afford that. As for the forwards,I agree about Redmond and Boufal, Tadic well he's never been the same since Pelle left, and I feel sorry for Gabbi, oh for a Ronnie Ecklund or Berkovic type player he would get all the service he could ever wish for!

Is there any transfer news? -
Interesting point. What if we accepted the Chelsea bid but he refused to go? I assume and indeed hope the **** would rot in the U23's now that would be funny
-
Unless we agree to sell him of course!
-
Lets see how ambitious he really is, if he chooses Liverpool over Chelsea then he has chosen a club who has to qualify through group stages to champions league over a club who's already in the main draw!
-
Where's Osvaldo when you need him:D
-
Probably Klopp!

VVD transfer fee now up to £100m

Just started it! -
Never!

Sadly it all seems inevitable. I would very much like to hear what the PFA's view on VVD's behaviour would be? Probably the same as the Premier League who's interest is in protecting the best interests of the bigger teams at the expense of the smaller teams so the the "product", or football as us fans know it, can keep generating the big money income. Perhaps it's time to jack in my sky sports subscription, that will show em!
-
And so did I, he was a fantastic player, however towards the end of his career with us, it was sad to see how often he was injured. I think it was WGS who famously joked that Pahars was the only player he knew who could walk past a computer and pick up a virus! Let's hope Boufal is made of sterner stuff
-
The new Pahars!!

Saints Under-11s win International Tournament

Fantastic well done to them, let's hope there are some first team players in the making! -
Oh dear, no doubt they will blame the media and play the innocent victims card again. Still it's great that the club finally grew a set and pushed back rather than bending over for that lot again. He may still go but at least it won't be to them!!
-
Totally agree, oh and can we also stop this boll*cks about "Champions League ready" as well...
-
Can we not apply for a court restraining order against Liverpool FC...stalking of the worst kind if you ask me!
-
I'm with Whitey Grandad on this one if people want to boo they have paid their money and are entitled to express their feelings and opinions alike. I wonder if you were around when Branfoot was our manager if so I suspect you must have been in a minority of one not booing!
-
Yep oversight on my part Yoshida also had a good game and what a tackle he made when Cedric made that awful back pass!!
-
Well thank god for Romeu and Stephens who at least showed some commitment and endeavour today. I do wonder how many others heads were somewhere else. Sadly I was all for giving Puel another season but looking at the players over the last few games, I do wonder whether the players are really doing it for him, I think not in which case I can't see how he survive the end of season review!
-
On that basis the one person who deserves a rest is Romeu!
