To be honest I thought today was one of the saddest days in the history of sfc. I saw a full house going for the wrong reasons to see man utd. I used to see people going to watch saints play and the great players we had. We used to go to the united games at home in the knowledge that there was a good chance that we would win. Now some of our pathetic supporters are happy for us to lose 3-0 when it could have been 10 if not for utd not being in cruise control and also the fact our keeper saved us. The offside was marginal, the sending off was fair and a horror tackle the penalty could have gone either way and also they could have had another one afterwards and we could have had another sent off. How many corners did we have? How many shots on goal did we have? We are going nowhere and my team that used to compete with man utd and were a genuine force are now a farce under lowe. Richard chorley cares deeply about the club. He had a season ticket for the last 2 years in the northam with his daughter. He really cares about the people of this city and their feelings and right from the word go he had lowe figured out even from the reverse takeover. He is very passionate and only does these things because he cares so much. He always tries to do things to help the club and with the new stadium spent 12 hours in the civic centre campaigning fo the new stadium and making things better with the ethnic monorities. Lowe had done lots to **** the whole thing up at the time. Please dont give him a hard time. Whatever people say he loves the club and the people of southampton, look beyond his temper and you have a man whose knowledge of what happens behind the scenes is second to none. He knows chapter and verse what lowe has done to this club from the first minute he got here. He is actually one of the most intelligent people you could meet.

St throbber you are a complete fantasist. Crouch worked 6 days a week for free and paid for the statue and had the green light from barclays. Had appointed a really good manager in pearson, and had nothing to do with the execs terrible financial decisions. Him and his gang are not at all responsible for the mess that lowe has got us into. To be fair mate that is absolute rubbish. Crouch had no control at all until last december and then he appointed pearson who looks a brilliant manager. He also had the bank onside end of last season and was working 6 days a week for no money as opposed to lowes 2 for a lot of money

Crouch was doing a good job when he was there. The appointment of pearson was good and he was taking control of the finances. He is a much better business man than lowe.

It wasnt crouch's fault, it was wilde's. Crouch. lawrie, trant and corbett didnt have a say. It was wilde who brought in hone, oldknow and dulieu. Hone and dulieu with wilde made the decision to gamble the money in 2006. Crouch can be judged from december 2007. In that time he made the appointment of pearson which was good and worked 5 days a week for free. He also paid for the ted bates statue out of his own money. Lets not get confused. It is lowe's fault mainly but wilde lied to the non execs.

Absolute rubbish. I know for a fact after speaking to nigel and lowe that rupert did not give pearson incharge, these issues were not discussed and it was obvious after 2 mins of the meeting that lowe wasnt going to keep pearson on. The meeting with lowe and pearson was also about 3 weeks after the season and it is a fact that wotte and portviliet were at the sheff utd game already on the understanding that they would get the job.
