Aye, it’s definitely an option against us, but it’s not like we were completely overrun in the first half, despite being a bit off the pace. We had a few moments of being a bit sloppy and got punished for them. We’ve generally been very good at playing out through a press, and Huddersfield playing it as aggressively as they to cause us problems despite that cost them towards the end of the match, when they were more or less out on their feet and we had very good players coming on fresh.

Can see the gap to last season’s runners up, but we’ve done well to keep it to 1-0 down at half time after being hit early.

What a match! What a match! WHAT A MATCH!

We’ve been sloppy today and punished for it. That said, ref has been by far the worst we’ve had this season.
-
And with that, none of the teams below us have it in their own hands any more!

It’s easy for anyone with even a shred of knowledge of Russian disinformation to see it for what it is, but they’re not the target audience. They’re after the same people that have managed to convince themselves that anything on ‘mainstream media’ is automatically untrue, and also it’s extremely useful to Russia to try to present themselves as being in the right to the domestic audience in Russia. It’s unlikely to change any minds outside of Russia, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it shores up support a bit for the war inside Russia, for a little while at least.

Most players have to have good movement and get into danger areas. For MLT the danger area was whatever he happened to chose to stand

Now we just need the Leeds games to get abandoned for the weather

That’ll do Saints

And Leeds go to extra time with the heavens opening

Extremely useful run out for some of the squad, keeping them sharp may well help us as the season draws towards the business end.

Get in! Great day!

You didn't put much effort in with quoting Adm. Rob Bauer, which is where it all stems from. https://www.standard.co.uk/news/world/russia-war-nato-military-exercise-admiral-rob-bauer-brussels-cold-war-b1133399.html

It’s more along the lines of pointing out that the possibility of Russian attacks within the next 20 years isn’t something that can or should be ignored by Europe’s militaries. Papers have had a bit of a field day with that.
-
Right, so what would Russia’s plan be to even scratch our UK based forces?

Quite impressive to go from To In the space of one page.

Great signing assuming it goes through! Certainly seems to have annoyed rivals’ fans that we look like getting him.
-
At the moment I’m sure that as well as giving us confidence, it’s doing as much to create pressure on our rivals, especially with the points gap being whittled away steadily.

Always makes himself available in midfield, hardly ever loses the ball even when the pass to him is less than ideal, and hardly ever misplaces the pass to another player. All stuff that isn’t going to make the highlight reel, but done as consistently as he does it is a massive asset in keeping the team working as a unit.

Having the replay obviously not ideal, but keeping the unbeaten run going is a massive positive, especially with being so close to the club’s all time record.

Didn’t think it’d be able to live up to how good the first series was, but it really did, brilliant tv to watch.

Unbelievable result for Maidstone!

https://www.skysports.com/watch/video/sports/football/10742728/forsters-fantastic-recovery I’m still not sure exactly how he misread the initial shot, but unbelievable agility for someone his size to get back and keep it out. Still the only time Klopp’s lost in a semifinal! That moment of Long scoring…. that’s the purest moment of sheer triumph I’ve ever experienced watching football.

Great result as far as I’m concerned, 4 points dropped in total by rivals tonight, now let’s get after that title.

Ipswich almost looked like they were playing for a draw before the goal, be interesting to see how they play now they need to attack.
