With signing Boruc, and Gazzaniga looking good in the last game, I do fear we've seen him play his last game for Saints. That said, I'm sure he'll be doing everything he can to earn his place back, and good luck to him, I hope he can push his way back into the first team. If we have seen his last game for us though, we owe him so much. I don't think we'd be in the Premier League right now without that heroic performance at Leeds, for a start.

You'd have though that, if either bid WAS 'on track,' they'd have taken over already by now, you know, making sure they were ready BEFORE the deadline when they could have been liquidated... My guess is that neither bidder can satisfy the FL in terms of paying former players and making it til the end of the season, and Birch has extended the deadline a few days instead of liquidating already under the guise of giving the bidders more time to extract a few more days fees out of it.

I can see why Adkins made each of the subs. They backfired today, but that doesn't mean Adkins was wrong to make them.

Thinking about it, he was bound to sign for us as soon as Lawro said he wouldn't. It was only after he stopped predicting we'd go down that we actually did I just hope Ramirez can live up to the expectation that has been built up about him now.

Exactly. Technically they could avoid -10 this season by staying in admin, but there's no way they can afford the fees to stay in admin for that long, they'll never make it to the end of the season like that.
