  1. Well and truly a bad day at the office. Would rather it was this week than next, need to pick ourselves back up.
  2. Getting back into this now.
  3. Incredible save!
  4. Haha, 'control the controllables' is catching on...
  5. Keeping him fit for the Pompey game then...
  6. Pompey 3-1 down.
  7. Pfft, we can win the league even without Reading slipping up and helping us you safety muncher.
  8. Additionally, West Ham are incredibly fragile right now. They lose this and that might be the end of any coherent challenge from them. Not to mention it takes all the pressure off of the Reading game in terms of automatic promotion.
  9. Because this leaves the maximum possible gap to the non-automatic promotion places.
  10. As an aside, I'd imagine this along with the new training facilities will make us a shoe in for at least 'underwriter' sugar daddy status in the next FM. (Maybe even the next update.)
  11. Haha, took me a few seconds of remembering Adkinsisms before I realised what that was...
  12. Earn a win on Saturday and we're 8 or 9 points clear of 3rd with equal games played.
  13. Does mean that there's no chance of us relaxing at all.
  14. aw dammit
  15. Bill Hooks
  16. Sounds like Faye's match is over.
  17. That'd kill it as a taunt towards us forever more.
  18. I'll always remember Kelvin's perfomance against Leeds this season. Whether or not you think he should be considered a Saints legend, I think we can agree that was a legendary perfomance. We're not there yet, but if we do go up, Kelvin has been a massive part of that journey back up from the bottom of League One. He had to leave the West Ham training ground to walk back in here during that, and along the way, in three seasons, he's led us to a win at Wembley, followed by what will hopefully be confirmed as two successive promotions. Legend in my eyes.
  19. By far my worst one was confidently predicting to a mate that the Dutch experiment with the kids would have us playing like Arsenal and be a joy to watch... My best one was probably saying that Dodd was about to score straight from the corner just before he did (Ok technically he didn't, but it got me kudos at the time )
  20. Added for you. Hard to look past Sharp for me today.
  21. Yeah. They're also 5 without a win.
  22. Whichever way you look at it, that's a pretty big gap now.
  23. Nice to see Reading's unbeaten streak finally broken as well now.
  24. Oh fine. WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Happy now?
