Oh I don't doubt that you thought that was where we'd finish when you predicted it at the start of the season. Like I said, I wouldn't have bet anything I couldn't afford to lose against it happening at the start of the season. It was when you were still carrying on predicting it when we'd have had to lose every single game for it to be possible that you were being ironic with it (I hope!)

To revel in the achievement. To realise how it might not have happened, so that we can enjoy the fact that it DID happen even more.

Yeah, it was pretty clear he was just carrying on ironically after a while To be honest, I wouldn't have bet against a 17th finish with any meaningful stakes right at the start of the season.
