  1. Ah. It was all because Pompey are tired. That quality over quantity approach is working wonders I see.
  2. THIS! That would have been one of the best goals I've ever seen live.

It's one password, so depends entirely on the strength of the password being used. If he's used 'saintsfc' or 'password' then it's entirely possible someone could guess it. Like I already said though, I can't believe no one at SSN would have talked to him about tweets he's made, especially so considering the subject, and that would mean that any tweets that weren't him would be revealed pretty quick.

That certainly is Le Tissier's Twitter account. He's talked about the match he's going to be covering on a Saturday before, as well as it being confirmed by his fellow SSN presenters on Twitter. Also, do you really think no one would have mentioned they were following him on twitter, or talked to him about something he'd tweeted at SSN? It'd have come out that it was a fake account pretty quickly a long time ago by Ed Chamberlain or another presenter saying something about it (and stopping following him). That said, this is just a personal dispute being played out in public. Le Tissier, for what he's done in the past, will always be a legend to the fans. Le Tissier, despite not liking Cortese, is still a fan and will always want Saints to win. Cortese will be chairman for the forseeable future, and also wants Saints to win, and is the one in a position to do something about it. Saints don't really come into it here, except for both parties being so heavily linked with the club. Both still are completely behind the club itself, it's just something they have to sort out between themselves.
  5. Not to mention higher ticket prices and attendances that are ACTUALLY higher than last year.
  6. The Daily Mail reporting annoys me... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2042935/Arsenal-2-Olympiakos-1-Early-goals-secure-victory-Gunners.html "Oxlade-Chamberlain provided yet more evidence of why he was Wenger’s most expensive acquisition of the summer at £12million" "In Oxlade-Chamberlain they at least discovered a player with the potential to become another Arsenal favourite" He's played all of what? 3-4 hours for them so far? Been there a matter of weeks, and there's not one mention of Saints, not one, not even just putting 'from Southampton' after the price. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2043055/Alex-Oxlade-Chamberlain-makes-history-Arsenal-win.html They also have an entire article on him, also without mentioning us. It almost feels like it's deliberate, it would have take all of two words to mention where he's spent 99% of his career.
  7. We might have slipped up the last two games, but everyone else has missed their chance to punish us.
  8. Stayed top, created plenty of chances, never gave up, and only went down to a couple of sloppy goals (including one after we should have had a penalty by the sound of it)... That said, we need to tighten up away from home. A win against Watford is vital now. If we manage to win and push on again over the next couple of games against Derby and West Ham, it's from the top of the league and will put us in a very VERY strong position.
  9. Come ON! NEVER GIVE UP!
  10. Goal in the next 10 minutes and we're right back into this...
  11. After we might have had a penalty by the sound of it...
  12. It puts pressure on us, but it's a good type of pressure, with the awesome payoff of going clear at the top if we win. It certainly seemed to help against Birmingham!

I wonder what odds you could get on McClaren and Cotteril swapping clubs in the next few days...
  15. Massive opportunity for us tomorrow now. Cardiff have a few injuries, and with our form, I can see us doing well as long as we put in a good performance.

What a perfect night! I'll say it again, we always do well when we're not playing!

Little bit happier with the point at Burnley now!
  20. Aye, I guess, still would have preferred the draw there. Still, I guess it might hurt them more in the long run if it keeps Cotteril in a job. On to the next game, hopefully we'll play a bit better.
  21. A point away, still top of the league despite not playing to our best, pretty happy with that. Pompey nicking all three is annoying though.
  22. It's the only game playing and directly affects our league position? Would be the same whatever the names of the teams in that situation.
  23. We always seem to do well on days we're not playing!
  24. Actually, it's comments by your flawless, whiter than white, rich, altruistic benefactors who have nothing but good things intended for Pompey that suggest that. Along the lines of 'we are debt free' I believe it was... Besides, focusing on that one tiny afterthought at the end completely misses the point he was trying to make. Even you have to admit that the motives for CSI to buy you can be questioned. Now stop trolling by trying to derail a pretty decent debate just because you don't like the subject or the direction it's headed.
