  1. Ah well. At least Saints are still the only team to beat Klopp in a semi-final.

See that there are rumours floating around that cancer is scheduled for surgery for a Putin removal
  3. I remember as a kid getting the Forest badge sticker for the Merlin sticker album, initially celebrating thinking it was the Saints one, and then being disappointed when I quickly realised it wasn’t

NATO only expands when countries want to join NATO, and expansion is resisted by NATO. It’s not easy to join because Article 5 is taken very seriously, and NATO both doesn’t want to increase the risk of it needing to be invoked, and doesn’t want new members that might not be as committed to Article 5 as existing members. Still, if Russia says it’s all NATO’s fault that they’ve invaded sovereign territory it must be true eh?
  5. Did Richarlison throw a lit smoke flare into the crowd!?
  6. Well that one stung. Not the best weekend when it’s two late Burnley goals that cheer you up slightly.
  7. Yeah, would agree that Man Utd - Leeds should be in there. Forest - Leicester isn't even a two sided rivalry, it's more like Saints - Bournemouth than Saints - Pompey. Forest would consider Derby their main, uh, derby... (and vice versa) Incidentally there have been 10 Saints - Bournemouth games in the Prem, and far more recent.
  8. Four games in the Premier League for Saints - Pompey. Six for Nottingham Forest - Leicester, so it's not purely on the matches that have occurred in the Premier League (unless six is enough for one of the biggest derbies in the history of the league?).
  9. Main difference for me is I can see it easily going down to goal difference now.
  10. That's one of the best games I've watched in a long time. Be interesting to see how both teams approach the second leg now.
  11. Could be a point that makes the difference in the end, but they also dropped two points compared to Forest. For the first time Forest actually have it in their own hands.
  12. It's been like watching a match that's been scripted for a movie.
  13. City have scored four against Real Madrid and will be extremely disappointed to have only scored that many.
  14. Man City - Real Madrid has been an utterly outstanding game to watch
  15. I'd imagine the managers will try to calm it down a bit at half time, but I still wouldn't be surprised if either team doesn't end up with 11 on the pitch at the end of the game.
  16. Reminds me of our game against Swansea a few years back. (the hotelgate one) I'd predict 35 will be the mark, but it only takes one or two results to push it up past that.
  17. Richarlison. Not because I'd particularly want him playing for Saints, just so we didn't have to play against him.
  18. Leeds season could turn on this game. Win and it's close to a two horse race between Everton and Burnley for the last relegation spot. Lose or draw and their next three fixtures could well see them dragged into the fight.

That's like saying Ireland should hold a referendum now to avoid the threat of death and destruction due to the threat of British invasion. There's no excuse or justification for what Russia has done.

Both Sweden and Finland have agreed to apply to join NATO next month. Can’t imagine too many barriers will be put in their way.
  21. Did the money come from Moshiri or Usmanov? On top of that they’ve got a new stadium to pay for, and apparently no relegation clauses in their player’s contracts either. Everton didn’t look too special against lower league opposition in the cup games earlier this season. It’s by no means certain Everton go down, but it now looks more likely than not they do, and if they do, I think they’ll be in significant danger of going more Sunderland/Pompey than Newcastle/Villa.
  22. Burnley playing Villa with Gerrard managing twice might be, uh, interesting…
  23. It was probably Everton’s best chance of getting something, but they needed everything to go for them, and it didn’t. As soon as they conceded they had no choice but to open up.
  24. 538 model does too https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/soccer-predictions/premier-league/
  25. Think that might have been red if Liverpool weren’t 2-0 up
