Toss up between Gabbiadini vs West Ham or Adams vs Man City for me, probably Adams. EDIT: Martina vs Arsenal in the conversation too! We’ve had some cracking first goals over the years!

Fantastic performance and result, might even have won on another day. Got the benefit of two VERY close decisions on VAR. Unbeaten against this Man City team is no mean feat this season. Salisu immense. Just immense.

I'm sure that's happened too to a certain extent too, based on what any particular author is attempting to do, but you need a better example than that. You're comparing misrepresented data about what's actually occurred with a worst case estimate for a scenario, where the conditions for that scenario never actually occurred.
-
Guessing that's based on this one, or at least is using the same or very similar data; Factors associated with deaths due to COVID-19 versus other causes: population-based cohort analysis of UK primary care data and linked national death registrations within the OpenSAFELY platform - The Lancet Regional Health – Europe It's yet another example of cherry picking data out of context to give a false impression of Covid being less serious. The 17,300 figure competely ignores all the people who wouldn't have died had they not caught Covid. Stepping back for a second, the fact that there are at least that many people that have died despite otherwise being in perfect health as far as the NHS are concerned, no other factors such as being overweight, age not being a factor, no heart or lung issues... that Covid was enough completely by itself to kill people like that... it only sounds like a small number because the overall massive impact of Covid has desensitised us to a large extent.

Looks like most of it stems back to this tweet; Seems like he might be one of their better ITKs judging by the reaction, but absolutely no idea on that myself. Guess Saints and Broja’s tweets today have added a bit of fuel to the fire too.

For what it’s worth, Chelsea fans seem to be worried something is happening. Hopefully they’re correct!

We've played worse than that against better opposition and got better results. At least we got that free kick out of the game. Gets better every time I see it.

No supporter of ANY team has said that!

Probably spent a couple of days on it after hearing that Danny Mills had said that anyone could do what he does with practice
-
Damn. File under "one of those days" I think.

I guess it makes sense from Newcastle's point of view, taking a relegation rival's striker off of them and giving themselves a better chance of staying up. Dropping to the Championship would be a massive setback to their ambitions. That said, it might be a little short sighted. Wood hasn't been at his best this season, and it'd be amusing if Burnley went and used the money to buy a striker that keeps them up at Newcastle's expense.

Thought we might find it a bit tough tonight after the FA Cup game, but that's got to be one of our best performances in the last few seasons! JWP has to be the fittest player in the league. His engine is ridiculous, and it doesn't seem to matter how much he's played.
-
That's the sort of VAR decision where they've looked a lot harder for a reason to disallow it because it's Man Utd at Old Trafford.
-
Blimey, just seen the save Begovic made to avoid penalties in the Hull-Everton game - uncanny reaction.
-
We've done well to dig that one out! Imagine looking back on escaping this one if we go on to lift the cup...
-
Where the crowd can come into play!?
-
What a run! Shame we couldn't finish it off there.
-
Long! Great attitude from the players here!
-
Dammit! Wait! Gerrin!
-
Oh... he had so much time and space!

HD coverage working again on Sky on 952.

Even if we win the FA Cup in my lifetime, and I'm there to see it, I think I'll always wonder what it was like to be there in 76. With it being our first major trophy, winning it the way we did, against such huge odds... a proper fairytale cup run, while in a lower division as well...

Cool, mini feature on '76 on half-time coverage
