  1. Probably spent a couple of days on it after hearing that Danny Mills had said that anyone could do what he does with practice
  2. Damn. File under "one of those days" I think.
  3. I guess it makes sense from Newcastle's point of view, taking a relegation rival's striker off of them and giving themselves a better chance of staying up. Dropping to the Championship would be a massive setback to their ambitions. That said, it might be a little short sighted. Wood hasn't been at his best this season, and it'd be amusing if Burnley went and used the money to buy a striker that keeps them up at Newcastle's expense.
  4. Thought we might find it a bit tough tonight after the FA Cup game, but that's got to be one of our best performances in the last few seasons! JWP has to be the fittest player in the league. His engine is ridiculous, and it doesn't seem to matter how much he's played.
  5. That's the sort of VAR decision where they've looked a lot harder for a reason to disallow it because it's Man Utd at Old Trafford.
  6. Blimey, just seen the save Begovic made to avoid penalties in the Hull-Everton game - uncanny reaction.
  7. We've done well to dig that one out! Imagine looking back on escaping this one if we go on to lift the cup...
  8. Where the crowd can come into play!?
  9. What a run! Shame we couldn't finish it off there.
  10. Long! Great attitude from the players here!
  11. Dammit! Wait! Gerrin!
  12. Oh... he had so much time and space!
  13. HD coverage working again on Sky on 952.
  14. Even if we win the FA Cup in my lifetime, and I'm there to see it, I think I'll always wonder what it was like to be there in 76. With it being our first major trophy, winning it the way we did, against such huge odds... a proper fairytale cup run, while in a lower division as well...
  15. Cool, mini feature on '76 on half-time coverage
  16. That's never the reason he's gone down, but Valery silly to give him the chance to do that.
  17. A few sloppy moments aside, that early goal has done us a world of good in terms of giving us control of the game.
  18. That might explain the Covid cases they had...
  19. Newcastle
  20. Unfortunately looks like it might not be on iPlayer, can pick it up on 976 on Freesat, 978 on Sky, or 684 on Virgin Media though. EDIT: Restark pointed out it looks like you can change your location on iPlayer to view.
  21. That was the Hotelgate match wasn’t it? That late goal was a proper limbs-flailing-everywhere-oh-right-I’m-only-in-my-living-room moment Reactions from both sets of players and the crowd at the end was a sight to see too.

    Coronavirus

Asymptomatic doesn't mean they haven't tested positive, just that they're just not showing any ill effects. Unfortunately with Covid, that doesn't mean they can't spread it.
  23. Unless he decides to kick up a VvD type stink over leaving (which I actually would be genuinely shocked by), with 4 1/2 years left on his contract I think that the price we'd be willing to sell at is a lot higher than what anyone would be willing to offer.
