Every post he's made since the end of the match has been fishing for reactions. Unfortunately for him he's got one from me.

Take the rest of the day off.
-
That's not the take most will be taking from this game
-
Main difference has been the officiating and a world class keeper.
-
Completely undeserved.
-
There was no way he missed the backpass. He chose to ignore it.

I don't know how any Liverpool fan would be able to take any pride in this season deep down.
-
Utterly screwed there.
-
If Liverpool are hoping we'll tire second half they might just be in for a shock.
-
We've had the better of the game so far, deserve to be in front really.

His dedication and professionalism meant he was always improving, and the fact he always gave it everything made him one of my favourite players. He reached 100 international caps and was given the international captain’s armband thanks to his efforts here, and he truly earned them. He’ll always be very welcome back at St Mary’s.

Considering we're in bloody good form, have got a half decent chance of beating Spurs, Norwich at home in the last 16, and Liverpool aren't taking the FA Cup seriously, 100-1 seems to be a bit overpriced for us to win the whole thing.

Seems to be saying that talking about football can lead to being sexist... so you shouldn't talk about football... I'd like to see the research that suggests that talking about football leads to sexist behaviour. Also the research that suggests that preventing talking about football would stop the following sexist behaviour from happening. Seems ridiculous to me.

Gerrrrrin! Been a good game of football, looked like it wasn't our day but we deserve that!
-
Result of spending the start of the season doing a pretty good job of keeping up with Liverpool and going into the same mentality they had when the won the league.
-
That's a cracking finish for Rodriguez there!

The all new relegation priced thread 2019 (it gets earlier every year!).

http://www.sportsclubstats.com/England/Southampton.html On the stats website that estimates everyone's strength and then simulates the rest of the season thousands of times after each round of fixtures. Looks like 38 points would be almost exactly 50/50 to go down. Anything above that and it drops off dramatically. -
Looks like it's a choice between trying to break into Saints first team in the Premier League, or break into Leeds first team in the Championship. On top of that, with the obligation to buy for 20M only kicking in if Leeds actually get promoted, there's no guarantee it'd be a permanent transfer, especially as Leeds always fade in the second half of the season. He's not going to be pushing too hard and burning bridges, for at best a sideways move, if he might have to come back.

Palace 0-2 Saints. Wild celebration reaction thread.

Long's almost like a defensive midfielder that happens to play further up the pitch now. You're not playing him because you're expecting him to score a load of goals, but because the work he puts in helps the team massively. That said, I'm sure he'd be the first to say he'd expect himself to be scoring more often than he does. -

That's the way to respond to a game like the Wolves game! We're three points off 5th -
Jeez, annoying to lose because of three goals that ****ing spawny

My gut feeling is that this is mostly agent driven, seems to make more sense than any other option. Probably he's taken a disappointing start to Saints career, plus Leeds absolutely desperate for a striker and willing to pay most of our costs so far, and Adams possibly willing to move down a level and closer to home, and is presenting player wants the move to Saints and Leeds in an effort to get them to deal and give himself a payday. Hasenhuttl is seeing the potential in Adams and must think that him coming good is more likely than being able to bring in a new striker that'll perform better, so for his part of the transfer committee is against the move, with the club willing to back him on that.

The results we’re getting against the top teams again.... it feels like the seasons where we were competing for the European spots again
-
Oh that one tastes sweet.

Jeez, fair to say we’ll be counting ourselves unlucky if we don’t go on and win this comfortably.
