Feels great to be a Saints fan right now. That was a tough away game and we came through with a win and 4 away goals. Long way to go yet and it looks like we'll have West Ham, Boro and Birmingham to see off if we are going to sustain this. Big big ask, but every reason for optimism. Well done Saints.

Delighted with that result following what I saw on Australian TV last week against Reading. What a phenomenal run of home results. Away form isn't too dusty either. We must just save up our crap away performances for Sky to lull the rest of the league. Great to be a Saints fan again. Well done Nigel Adkins, Cortese and the whole squad.

Yeah the last 4 looked like a watershed and I thought 6 points from them and I'll think we are a chance this season. 8 points and unbeaten shows we are the real deal and set for a right crack at it this season. FWIW I know the dark place Alpine comes from - he's been a Saints fan longer than most on here I reckon and has felt the pain too often. Like Dalek, I am slow to get too optimistic having been so badly burned so many times. But - if we don't at least make the play offs from here it will be a disappointment.

Point would be good. Win would be great. Tearing them a new thingy unlikely.

Palace Reserves v Saints Reserves. Good to see both sides behaving like Prem teams already. Really not bothered. Second rate comp for second string sides, and a second rate beer.

First game shown in Australia this season. Cannot understand how we are top. We got battered. Guly set up most of Reading's best attacks. Still, getting a point out of that is a good sign. Still reckon top half would be a good result for us this season.
