Not sure that particular change is relevant. The company on there appears to be in the process of being dissolved, so removing directors from the register is probably just a natural consequence of that.

Pretty sure if 2500 is the figure we've taken (and sold), that IS the full allocation, despite what footballgroundguide.com says. The capacity at the Hawthorns is 26,500, and they are only obliged to give us 10% of that amount (and it seems reasonable to assume the "missing" 150 seats would be swallowed up by segregation netting etc). With prices as they are for this game, it's no great surprise that we've sold our allocation before general sale. Other Midlands games will be more expensive or less attractive (or both), so I'm sure you'll get tickets for other games. In future, your best bet is probably to acquaint yourself with a season ticket holder who doesn't go to every game but would be willing to let you use their customer details in order to buy tickets for the games you're able to go to (assuming it correlates with games they're not going to at the same time!). I know loads of non-STHs who have got tickets for this game because they know STHs with an away purchase history who weren't bothered about going.

Let's face it, it could be worse, we could be Doncaster Rovers, who have just signed a member of One Direction -

It's all relative to need, though. That Sunderland side was in need of a big shake-up, so it was inevitable that they would be bringing a lot of players in - they also had to replace Mignolet as well. We've not been forced to sell any key players, and we've got a reasonably settled squad so for us I think it was always likely that we would only make a few additions in key areas, and only for players who are almost certain to improve the first team. -
I suspect that, having had Bournemouth mentally paying all of his wages for half a season, letting him out to Oldham for a much smaller percentage of his salary (if any at all) probably wasn't such a difficult decision. Not entirely sure where he goes from here now, though, probably only Wolves in League One who could afford his wages but I doubt he'd be on their radar.

I think it's a very sensible move for him (in conjunction with the coaching staff, I assume) to concentrate on the right-back position, as I would suggest he's a lot more likely to make a first-team breakthrough there than in the holding midfield role he's occupied in the League Cup appearances he's made for the first team, simply because of the strength and quality in depth we now have in that position, whereas with the departure of both Frazer Richardson and Danny Butterfield, we don't (didn't) really have a proper understudy for Nathaniel Clyne.

Saw rumours (on the ever-reliable Facebook) that we only had an initial allocation of 1700, which seems ridiculous given that it's not that far away and tickets are only £25.

I managed to get £12.50 singles up on the Friday night and back on Sunday evening

Recent events might make train travel from Santiago somewhat challenging, for those who were banking on that route...

FourFourTwo Season Predictions - (Premier League - League Two)
stevegrant replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Worth noting that, IIRC, FourFourTwo predicted QPR to finish in the top half last season. I wouldn't take their predictions too seriously. -
And what a rip-roaring success that one turned out to be

I paid £21 in total, £13 for London Liverpool Street to Norwich and £8 for Norwich to London Liverpool Street. I'd always book them as soon as you can, it's worth signing up to the notification emails from the rail companies so you'll be told when the advance fares are made available. It's usually 10-12 weeks in advance, but can vary for weekend travel depending on bank holidays and engineering works. I've got my ticket up to Manchester for the game at Old Trafford already, but can't get the return leg on the Sunday yet as they've not released the advance tickets. Edit: turns out the advance tickets on Virgin are available for that weekend, but most of them have already gone.

Just booked mine, a whole pound more expensive to go first class

Holloway really is pathetic.

Plenty of senior players in our squad though, according to Eastleigh sources. Hammond, Sharp, Lee, Forte, De Ridder, Barnard and Martin all due to feature.

PRE-SEASON: Schalke 04 vs Southampton - (18:00 KO)
stevegrant replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
I see we've gone back to the "fanny around with it in our own penalty area" tactic that served us so well in the early part of last season
