  1. No, it's only the JPT where it goes straight to penalties.
  2. Cardiff 2-2 Leicester, extra time on the cards there
  3. Commentary genius there: "Chaplow is flagged onside"
  4. Everton 0-1 West Brom
  5. Cardiff 1-2 Leicester
  6. Well that worked
  7. Alex sent off for Chelsea against Fulham
  8. Made a handful of sub appearances, all of them in injury time when we were holding on for a result
  9. The Leicester fan I know probably wishes he was
  10. If you're in London at all while you're over here, give me a shout
  11. Leicester level, Steve Howard Can't believe he's still there
  12. I'll be here on Saturday as well, can't justify a £100 day out at Burnley with three days in Cardiff next week (completely buggered by them changing the date after I'd booked travel and hotel )
  13. Perhaps, or just simply that Lennon didn't think he was what he was after. It happens sometimes, doesn't necessarily reflect badly on the player in question. That said, after the Forest game I was worrying a bit
  14. Cardiff 1-0 Leicester. Both teams meet again on Sunday in the Championship. Weird how often that sort of thing happens, Palace played Middlesbrough on Saturday and last night as well
  15. It is, but not for free. They bought the server and will manage the techy side of things, but we're paying them for the privilege. However, we are getting all of that for a lot less than they'd normally charge a client. It's still more than we were paying on the old server, but the advertising revenue has risen a fair bit in the last year, so the budget fits quite nicely.
  16. The server isn't free
  17. Consider it sorted
  18. Brighton losing already
  19. I'm intrigued by Reeves, he played the first half against FC Biel in pre-season at left-back, but has now changed to an attack-minded midfielder. Anyone got any insight on why that might have been (either why he was playing at left-back in Switzerland if he's naturally an attacking midfielder, or why he's now an attacking midfielder if he's naturally a left-back)?
  20. Prices for this one would have been agreed with both Preston and Charlton because their second round tie only took place last week and we had the tickets on sale before that.
  21. We have, but that's generally because we've priced the tickets attractively in the past. £14, for me, to watch what is essentially a glorified reserve game, is too much. I appreciate that the prices have to be agreed between both sides as there's a split in the gate receipts, but it does seem that in the Carling Cup these days, "less is more" applies to the early rounds in particular. The supposed 5000 figure is probably those who would have gone to the game even if it was £20. I'm not going tonight, it's too much effort for this sort of game to have to work through lunch and leave early to get the packed commuter train out of Waterloo, paying £22 for the privilege, and then not getting home until about 1am. Would I have been tempted if it was a tenner? Maybe, even though it's only a difference of £4, strange how rounding the price down to a single note does make a bit of a psychological difference.
  22. This assumes he does get us promoted. We're 7 games into a 46-game season At this stage, any one of the twenty teams in the Premier League is a massive step up simply because they are competing in the Premier League. That's not to say I think he'll go anywhere, at least in the short-term, but you never know what might happen.
