Possibly, or failing that just contact your local tax office.
-
It depends how much you've earned since the beginning of the tax year (April 5th, I think, or thereabouts). If it's less than your personal allowance - generally £6,475, but can vary slightly depending on whether you've over or underpaid in previous years - and you don't work again this tax year, you'll be able to claim all of the tax back at the end of the tax year.

I don't think it actually said that, per se. It said something along the lines that they would be entitled to serve 14-day notice on the club, but didn't actually say that the players would actually do it. They quoted a player saying "I'm fed up of lying for this club, from now on I will tell the truth", which could make the next week or so interesting. I'd expect all journalists writing about Pompey this week will be making calls to Herman Hreidarsson to get this "truth"...

I think the main reason is so it doesn't alert other clubs to how much is being spent/recouped. Every competitive advantage that a club can get - i.e. not letting other clubs know how much money they've got and/or how much they've spent - will be taken these days. Not ideal, but unless the FA/Football League impose rules forcing clubs to disclose transfer payments, I can't see it changing.

The article fails to deal with the fact that he's contractually owed the money, and unless he sticks his hand up and lets it be known, he'll have no chance of getting any of it.

Sorry guys, while clearly people are capable of downloading a PDF and reading it, I can't let you post that phone number on here - mainly because I can't be arsed to deal with the inevitable hassle it'll cause!
-
	Celtic and Newcastle respectively, apparently!
-
If there's a club prepared to pay that sort of money then technically he is "worth" that. I'd be pretty annoyed if we paid that sort of money for someone like him though! If that sort of stupid money's being talked about, he'll be off to Spurs...

I have vague recollection that the Johnson to Liverpool deal basically covered all of the outstanding money due for Crouch, so pretty sure that deal was settled back then.
-
Apparently he's got the hump because James is off to Stoke and other players are being sold behind his back. It seems utterly unfathomable that he didn't realise that players would have to be sold to attempt to pay off some of the debt  Williamson, Mullins and Wilson are all likely to leave soon, and they'll hold out until the last possible moment before selling Kaboul to get the best price.

	Source?

Please tell me that's a joke...
-
How about the supposed "adults" who then attempted to start a fight with a stewards for having the cheek to stop them getting on the pitch? It's happened quite a few times this season - one of these days, the referee will report it to the FA and we'll be in trouble.
-
To be fair to them, I would be amazed if this was an uncommon practice.

Christ. It never rains but it pours...

The actual winding-up petition will be heard some time next month (11th, I think) - they have from now until then to find the money. Good luck to them, they're going to need it...

Did I read somewhere recently that they're putting Gran Turismo 5 back indefinitely?
-
Well he didn't guess that being told before taking the Newcastle job that they were going to be appointing people to take care of transfers meant that he wouldn't be in control of transfers, so I'm not that surprised

	In order of likelihood - 2, 1, 3

It's quite amusing that StuRumourSaint has actually been proven right for once

Considering what else has gone on down there, I wouldn't be surprised...

I used to do this - you should just need a video capture card, and then the relevant cables to go between your Sky+ box (red/white audio cables and yellow video cable) and your PC. The capture card will come with software that will allow you to view and record the Sky box content - although it cannot access the hard-drive directly, it will basically just capture what's displayed on screen, so if you press the pause button on the Sky remote, the pause icon will display on the captured video. Dunno if anyone's managed to come up with a way of accessing the video on the Sky+ hard drive yet - I presume it's encrypted and paired to the viewing card, so that could be pretty tricky.

I thought he sold his place in Belbins? Pretty sure it was in the Romsey Advertiser (a proper paper ) back then... "man sells house" makes front-page news

Might be worth investigating whether it works out to be quicker from Clapham Junction - there's a direct service from there to MK/Bletchley at 17.36 which takes about an hour and 20 mins. I think the Euston train requires a change.
