  1. Prediction League will be launched very shortly, watch this space
  2. Yeah, expect so.
  3. Posted this morning.
  4. He's frying. Flintoff drops an easy one in the slips as well...
  5. First ball of the day, Onions traps Watson lbw Second ball of the day, Onions clean-bowls Hussey
  6. Best English manager of all time, IMO. RIP Sir Bob.
  7. RIP Sir Bob
  8. £15 on the day, £10 for season ticket holders if bought in advance.
  9. I'm afraid those days are long gone
  10. I am, yes. Getting a long-overdue haircut at 10, so probably on the 11.00 train.
  11. Oh, and if we win tonight, we'll play Sussex in the semi-final
  12. Chances of play are good - the forecast is for a bit of rain early afternoon but then sunny spells later and into the evening.
  13. http://www.southwesttrains.co.uk/SWTrains/News/_midsummermadness.htm If you're travelling on the SWT network this weekend to go to the QPR game, you can get a return ticket for £10 (normally £19 or so from Southampton Central on the 4 for 2 group saver deal). You'll still need to get a separate ticket either between Clapham Junction and Shepherds Bush if you're going on the overground train or some sort of underground ticket for the tube.
  14. Met Office forecast says rain for most of the afternoon and evening. Looks fine for tomorrow though, so I'm expecting it to be played then. The Lancashire v Somerset game tonight will almost certainly go to a bowl-out, which is a shame.
  15. Hmmm... will have to look at that in a bit more detail later. In the meantime, can anyone else who has access but cannot vote in the poll please reply to the two poll threads with their vote.
  16. I think Matt Paterson will be very useful this season, but he needs to be playing alongside someone with experience. Stern John would have been ideal, but clearly that's not going to happen now...
  17. Yes, I'm afraid so. Can you try it again?
  18. They're a tenner for season ticket holders if you buy in advance.
  19. The idea for the vote was that each contributor gets one vote, just to keep things simple as we're going to have to get it done fairly quickly. The "weighted" bit comes in for the prize draw, i.e. the more you contribute, the more chance you have of winning.
  20. Shepherds Bush overground station isn't too far away, and is served by direct trains from Clapham Junction.
  21. I've not posted them yet! They're all Jiffy-bagged up ready to go - just need to take them to the Post Office. PS I don't think I've got your address - couldn't find it when I was doing the labels last night...
  22. Isn't it just one change at Reading? Evening games are always easier to drive, IMO.
  23. Not sure who I'd compare Wolfsburg to in this country really. While the fanbase is probably equivalent to a Boro or a Fulham, they also have the rather handy financial backing of Volkswagen. Only three clubs in the Bundesliga aren't predominantly owned by their members - Bayer Leverkusen (owned by Bayer), Wolfsburg (VW) and Hoffenheim (rich benefactor who bankrolled promotion to the top flight for the first time last season... they were top at the mid-season break)
  24. Strangely, Claridge is usually very complimentary of us...
  25. OK, the sub-forum has been set up - if you've contributed, you should be able to see it on the forum front page. Please go in that forum and vote on the two polls asap. I don't know for certain how long I'm going to be able to leave those polls open, so please cast your votes as a matter of urgency.
