Very good post but speculating as to what MLT did or didn't so spoils it somewhat. One thing I'm sure of that assuming this all goes through Le Tiss will consider all Saints fans winner and that includes himself. He'll always be a winner in my book and no way in hell am I going to criticise the one ex Saints player who at least tried to do something.
By the way I do hope Wotte is a winner in this, he deserves to be part of our future.
Well I certainly would not back it ew at around 11/8 !! However, based on the fact that he is much better off than the last time he ran against 2nd favourite Iron Out and won that day this looks a very solid bet. Nothing stands out as a decent alternative though bizarelly Silent Treatment is as short as 7/2 on Betfair and 4/1 on WBX yet 7/1 with Bet365 and 6/1 readily available. So might be worth keeping an eye on the market as I can't recall seeing a horse at half the odds on Betfair as is available with at least one bookie !
Edit: Well Silent Treatment is now 6/1 on BF and 5/1 on WBX so not sure what the hell was going on there!
Yes, he might play especially with Lee injured. However, unless he improves dramatically he is likely to lose points, then again he might prove to be Shane Warne Mach 2 . Someone likes gambling!
