Not with NC being so prudent - I'll reserve judgement on the £1.2m total. Apart from Lambert, our signings have been fairly good deals for us in terms of fees.

Exactly - as I said its always happened and will continue to do so. It is a 'team' sport at the end of the day but I would ratehr be obvlious to the orders rather than how you pointed it out!

Then I wouldnt watch F1, as simple as that and think its a joke. Dont get me wrong, teams give orders all the time and racers swapping positions do happen however Ferrari could have been more subtle about it.

Thats fair enough. I wouldn't say that Saints are unstoppable at all but over the course of the season we will do well (hopefully). A few teams caught us out last season lets hope AP has ideas on what to do in those situations.

Winning the league or getting promoted will happen over 46 games. So not duly concerned.

I would manage 3/4 less pints but still think for £75 it isnt a bad price.

Know his contract expired at the end of June - didnt know if he had signed with anyone. Wages would be pretty high though i'd imagine and L1 is too much of a step down!

I remember the Saints Vs Bayern Munich game at St Marys. Thought the whole match that Ballack was awesome when it dawned on me that is was actually Hargreaves playing. He ran the game imo. Agree completely that if he was fit and form he would have made a big difference to the team.

Demarcus Beasley. A free agent I believe and someone who hasnt lived up to expectations. However think a NPC team would get him or he's go back to the states - unless he's signed for someone already!?

I think the general feel is that we need: DM/CM cover Back-up striker for Lambert Pacey winger/attacker If we get these positions filled with decent signings then I would be happy however as others have mentioned I think a couple loans will come in after the season has started but either way the way the club is set up we won't know about any signings until they are done!

Inception Went to see this today. Quite an interesting film with a decent core concept and makes you think a little as well. Could have been a lot more complicated but they kept it simple which makes it work. 4.0/5 Predators Maybe I shouldnt have watched this straight after Inception. I knew it would be mindless stuff but it was even more so after watching Inception first. This would be good on a friday night after/with a few beers. 2.8/5

The way I see it is that we are now covered at the back. Plenty of experience and some battlers. I believe we'll move on to sorting the midfield and then the attack. Not disappointed at all. Now I'm just waiting in anticipation of the next whats wrong with the club thread.

I have a coca cola football from 1994. The thing that makes it stand out is that it was produced before England failed to qualify and it had the Union Cross on it instead of the St George's Cross. Remember watching the antiques roadshow at the time and someone brought it into the show with the valuer saying one which had not been pumped up could be worth something in a few years time. I've tried googling for it but come up with not much. Can anyone recommend sites for collectors' items and or a value for it?! Also anyone else got random stuff which they think/know is worth some dosh? And yes my spelling is not right in the thread title!
