But you can still do that even with goal line technology? And when the decision goes the way you wanted you'd feel justified. Also I don't see how armchair fans would influence decisions at sprting events. Betting cartels and syndicates may be a reason or two as to why decisions wouldn't be decided by us!

Its a joke. FIFA peddles out the same arguments every time. Goal line/video technology would slow the game down. Of course players diving and feigning injury never slows the match down at all.......... Alright no goal line technology, what about an extra official on the goal line or for penalty box decisions? What thats you say? This can't be implemented in the lower leagues? Well how about just for the top leagues and major tournaments? Pathetic - fifa, with blatter in charge is just a money making machine where the top guys pay themselves fortunes. Rant. End.

The Firm Off the bat this is miles better than Awaydays (although I only managed 5 mins of that). Based on an 80s show (as the blurb says) nonetheless its a light hearted look back at life in the 80s in regards to firms associated with clubs. Was hoping that it was more serious though (in the I.D. mode). Basic story of the 'yoof' getting mixed up in the firm and going on their own journey throughout the film. However if the researchers did their research then I am shocked that Elise/Sergio tops and tracksuits cost £80 back in the day. I wouldn't pay that now! Cracking soundtrack and the Justine girl is absolutely awesome (fit!) in an 80s way too!

I've never understood why the media thinks they're so great. I remember watching them get hammered 5-0 by arsenal a few seasons ago (at fratton) and the commentators kept getting wood that the skates were still cheering on their team. Seriously, losing 5-0 I wouldnt be cheering.

Why? Whats so difficult to understand? One of your friend's sleeps with your missus estranged/or recently broken up and the mother of your child? I could understand if it was someone in the office - you'd just ignore them etc. Doubts of whether anything happened when you were with her. Also his head wont be in it, being a team game I know it would affect me and wouldnt want to put myself in that position where a nation would be expecting the best from you.

I will be in shock when I realise that a pie & pint for £5.30 at SMS is nothing compared to the price at Wembley.

I predict a fair few people out on the tiles the night before will forget that the clocks go forward an hour and miss the start of the game.

I think that there may be a mini crime spree in the city as 1/5 of us will be at Wembley. A baby boom come late November/December time if Saints win!

Poor result. Team was there for the beating but sounds like Saints just weren't up for it. As other posters have said. These are sort of fixtures that will need to be wining week in, week out. Big expectations next season.

I think we'll sell the 44k tickets. End of the day, its a day/weekend out in London for many and a chance to go to Wembley (for the first time in years and after all the rubbish we have suffered from since being relegated from the Premier League) with the family.
