Was about to post exactly the same. Im sure there's many more. I well remember that great night at the Dell when Matt destroyed United and Atkinson was given the elbow. Yes, it does show that we're generally underrated so full credit to Tom Huddlestone today saying on Talksport that we were the best team they've played this season. Let's sign him up!

One hell of an underrated player. Great engine, good in tight situations, good vision, good discipline, good motivator. Get him signed up long term. Just the sort of guy we want at the club.

Stevey Mills was more of a left back of course. He was a fantastic player and would have gone on to captain England....no doubt. I also think Ivan the terrible is the best right back I've seen in a Saints shirt and, maybe, anywhere. As an ex winger I'd rather have played against Clyne than Golac, simply cos it would have been less of a bruising, but technically Clyne is probably the better player and will surely play for England for a long time.

Was fortunate to have a medal presented to me by Stuart at a schoolboy presentation evening back in the 1960's. Still got the photo with Steve Mills and Gosport Borough's Tony Mahoney in the same team. He came across as a lovely guy. RIP Stuart.
