i think the multiple announcements were unnecessary too......BUT to then go on the pitch regardless of these announcements is just crazy! ...Football isn't like it was years ago ,H&S regs require that the club to take ALL necessary precautions to prevent a pitch incursion, not like when i first started going to watch Saints,when EVERY last home game of the season was finished off with a pitch invasion (all very good natured) anyway,i digress........ pitch invasion is wrong (not to mention, illegal!) BUT repeating the announcement 3 times shows a complete lack of understanding of a football fan's mentality and sense of humour...essentially,they are like children...tell them not to do something and it just makes them more determined to go and do it! re, the OP comment about the Police...it is the job of the stewards to contain and/or apprehend any wrong-doers and then hand them over to the police for THEM to deal with/arrest them.

oh, believe me, this information is nothing short of critical to the Nation's welfare...i salute you on your contribution

apologies if this has been mentioned elsewhere, but i popped into my local newsagents today and saw a Saints Pictorial History for sale (£7.50). Couldn't resist buying a copy once i'd had a quick flick through the pages. It's rammed with team/fans/staff/matchday photos from throughout our history...... loads of pics from the '76 FA Cup run/final and celebrations. if reading loads of boring facts about our history doesn't interest you (not really my cup of tea,tbh) THIS might just fit the bill, as there is very little reading involved!

apparently, (according to Cbeebies! ) all the Bumble Bees that are around at this time of year are Queen bees searching for nesting sites, thats why they're all so mahoosive! have seen LOADS this year though, so makes you wonder what has happened this year for there to be such a large amount of them (or perhaps it's just because we've had a very warm April, so we are out in our gardens more than we would normally have been at this time of year........

a couple of nice structural plants (med-large shrubs or rose bushes etc) will give height and interest to the border, then fill in the gaps with things like geraniums,lupins,pieres,lavender, crocosmia and then some small bedding plants....in the Autumn, plant some bulbs,so that you'll have plenty of colour next spring....

so let's hear from the "We want standing areas at football stadia" on THIS issue then......yeh, no H&S issues at all ,is there! :cool:
