getting back on subject... i have to say that i prefer the previous version ....this one is just too damn BRIGHT!!!!! A choice of skins would be nice too (i always used the blue version,as it was easier on the eye) and also WTF is going on with PM's???? i tend to waffle to my mate on PM and for some reason ,since the small update was done a couple of weeks ago , any of the longer PM's that we write become virtually iledgible (sp)....all the letters of each word are ON TOP of each other ,rather than NEXT TO each other and you have to read the words going downwards!!!.....it's **cking annoying! i PM'd SG about it almost a week ago and have not heard anything back!!.......... bit ignorant ,don't you think??

tbf though ALL of those that post on Pompeyonline are a bunch of retards anyway....... don't let them get to you , they're not worth it. i used to frequent a Pompey site and i must say that upon hearing the news of Markus's death i did think to myself "i bet those Skate pr1cks will be laughing and cheering like the Muslims were on Sept 11th" i can only imagine what drivvle they are coming out with tonight....

I got Marley and Me for Christmas and i STILL haven't watched it yet coz i know i'm gonna be a total blubbering wreck!!! in fact i bought my 2 boys (5&7) a storybook that deals with the circle of life issue (for something to live something else has to die) etc. It's about a young tree who grows in the forest next to an old oak, and the oak teaches him all he needs to know about the forest etc .Well one year after a very cold winter ,the old oak doesn't come back to life in the Spring like all the other trees have and the young tree is upset and confused by this............Guess who is sits there in floods of tears trying to carry on reading the story !!!!!!

i really do feel for you SOG , any woman that uses her kids as a weapon does not deserve a penny. But, you said in a previous post that she ignored a court ruling? surely she can't be allowed to get away with that? and just to even things up a bit on here.......i have 3 friends who have all within the last 3 years split from their children's fathers........not one of them gets a penny towards them.....the fathers are off with their new girlfriends and new lives,living it up , seeing the kids when (and only when) THEY want to see them. 2 of those friends have had no choice but to become welfare dependant and the other (who was training to be a nurse) has had to give up her career in order to get a full-time job and have her son go to a carer.....hardly ideal for any of the innocent parties, eh!. oh, and not to mention a family member whose marriage split up and she was left with a 2 yr old who the father would arrange to come and see and then NEVER turn up,leaving the little lad totally distraught.He left her with all the bills that he hadn't paid for months on end,which she then had to pay out of her meager income over the following 5 years, while he swanned off to live in Australia, get re-married have another kid and live in a detatched house with a swimming pool and a boat, while his ex and 1st child lived in a ****ty council flat in Thornhill!!........so, please , don't bash ALL women, we're not all like SOG's ex!!

i did one of these Awareness courses after getting caught on camera doing 37mph in a 30 zone.....it was really good actually....i had been driving for 16 years without incident, and it really is amazing what you forget (or never even knew!). there is no humiliation involved. at mine there were taxi drivers,driving instructors as well as the casual driver, so a real mixed bag of all ages/class and creed. If you go into it with the right attitude then you will , i'm sure , gain a lot of perspective and have a bit more respect for the potential killing machine that you get behind the wheel of every day. My course cost something like £70 as opposed to a £60 fine and 3 points . I'm REALLY glad i did it , and would urge anyone else to do it too (not just so as to avoid the points, but also to increase your speed and danger awareness). oh, and btw...if they think that you have just turned up and in no way participate with the discussion, then they are well within their rights to impose the original £60 speeding fine, so beware!

so because you were unemployed,your kids cost your ex nothing in food/clothing/heating/school trips/sports clubs etc at the time??? and just because her new husband is minted doesn't mean you have the right not to pay for them.....they're YOUR kids ,not his!! agree with you on the access issue, and you have my sympathies,truly, but maybe you could ask for some sort of compromise?? appeal to her better nature (if she has one)...perhaps put the money into a trust fund for when they're older?
