  1. Even if we don't get a CB at least we can be comforted by having the best midfield options in the league.
  2. I take it we're not 9th anymore?
  3. South Today said Sunderland bid for him today.
  4. Good try. It was crystal clear what he meant or he wouldn't have made the comment or anything similar or similar wording. He would have just said he can go when we're ready for him to go or whatever.
  5. Les said he would be replaced. Keep Calm and Trust in Les.

    Lawro

Merson going for a Swans win as well.
  7. Having just picked my way through those tweets last night it seems the conclusion is, from his Dad at least, that Jay is going no where. His tweeting of the rumour seems to be just an endorsement that his son is wanted. A bit of family PR. Or maybe I misunderstood it. Poxy Twitter.
  8. Yes you're right and just watching the clip of them training at Staplewood today he didn't appear to feature.
  9. If he's not in the squad tomorrow night the alarm bells will be tinkling. Assuming he's fit that is.
  10. MLG has just declared he is not required and we have an abundance of net-busting prolific strikers including those on the treatment table who are likely to hardly play before now and the end of the season. There you have it. Let's get rid of Rodriquez.
  11. Players wouldn't be kept abreast of information like this. They'd find out about 5 minutes before Joe Public at best.
  12. With our lack of depth and talent up front this would be a fairly remarkable deal to happen. No smoke without fire though and this rumour has been building for some time so it wouldn't surprise me to see WBA make a serious attempt to get this done.
  13. By your logic it will depend on the line-ups of those visiting teams, no?
  14. The Club is now setting match day prices based on the team they plan to put out?
  15. With seemingly long term injuries to Austin, VvD and McCarthy the potential signing of the 3 mentioned players would give us a position of status quo in the squad. Cue....
  16. I'm against mass rotation but if we've got to play morning and afternoon each day then I can accept it for these 6 games only.
  17. I agree Claude.
  18. There are a lot of interesting possibilities.
  19. And yet another game completely past by Reed.
  20. At least he is allowed on the rides at Paultons unlike his midfield team mates.
  21. The half a dozen or so posters on here who just blindly trot out that it's the only way had probably never even heard of such an extreme approach to this strategy a year ago. Along comes Claude and all of a sudden it's the only possible way we can get through a season. The only way. It's not the rotation that's the issue it's the degree he takes it to. Still he's got some youngsters some game time. I'm sure they'll be thanking him for giving their confidence such a boost.
  22. Arsenal are putting out a weakened team too so anything is a possibility that's for sure.
  23. It was a pretty straightforward question. I'm interested why you are happy but it doesn't seem you know why. Fair enough.
  24. In what way are you 'happy' with that team? And Wycombe, the team who just lost?
  25. We're keeping the CB signing well off the radar. Stealth mode. Keep an eye on the Potters Heron bookings.
