Well who'd have thought it, Pinnacle in not being able to prove funding shocker! It would be nice to hear what Pinnacle have to say in response to this? Hopefully also means that aslong as the Swiss or whoever actually do have the funding in place then the takeover should be completed in no time.

This is simply all that i care about, being able to go to football again in August! Not really fussed who takes over in the end, just let us have a club come the start of the season!

Hiding away from the rightful blame that would be aimed at them if one of them did open their mouths. It still makes my blood boil thinking back to the time after we'd just gone into admin when Lowe was doing his very own media round.

But if Lowe & Co. were so adamant that we wouldn't get the 10 points docked then surely the timing didn't matter to them? In the end it happened because Barclays turned out to be c*nts to us. But yes looking back now it would have made things so much easier now had we gone into admin before the cut off date, but then again the FL would still be looking at docking us 17 points this season anyway. I just don't know what to think anymore, this whole sorry saga has drained & deflated me to the point where i just want to wash my hands of it all but i know i just can't do this. Couldn't even get to sleep last night til silly o'clock because its driving me completly insane, and im sure most others on here!

Lol - the moment i read that they had plans to change our name to Southampton Red Bull was when i stopped reading, whoever wrote that is clearly using guess work & doesn't actually have much of a clue whats going on.

I wouldn't go as far to saying it would be a hopeless relegation fight. 75/80 points would be needed for safety, so promotion form which tbh without any points deduction most of us would all be expecting a promotion push, so staying up wouldn't be completly out of the question.

I couldn't really face a season without a club to support tbh, what division we are in at this stage is a minor worry.

The Swiss? Some mystery foreign group? Anybody know how far down the road the Swiss got with Fry? Were they waiting to see whether Pinnacle fell through or not & now have their own bid ready? Lets face it if this miracle of keeping SFC alive is going to happen these questions need answering now by somebody, preferably Mark Fry. We have 73 hours til close of play on Friday when Fry will probably have to start winding the club up, if he doesn't start doing it before then that is. Whoever is still interested they need to get the f*ck on with it, there is no time to waste & i still can't bear to think about not having Saints in my life.

Would love to see what Lynam has the post on here, f*cking time waster. I guess Fry now starts winding up proceedings, we need a f*cking miracle now.

Update to say he is to start winding up very shortly, as if he hasn't already started by selling DmG & Surman. This morning's news about KD...etc has zapped any hope that i had from me, things looking very bleak this morning.

Another kick in the balls for us fans, not sure how many more i can take. Starting to lose all hope now tbh.
