  1. Isn't that abit unfair on the outfield players?
  2. Thought Cotterill was going to cry during his interview. Pure hilarity!
  3. BHA I aee you're a full member. Have you actually paid a fiver to post on another teams board? Mentalist!
  4. I was told by a steward today it was a stress fracture fo something or other, out for about 6 weeks
  5. A friendly against them (Ted Bates Trophy?) would be amazing. Next time Nic takes a load of you out on the razzle could someone bring up the idea?
  6. Maybe a subliminal message from Nige, or maybe I'm just to busy getting out the building onto the bus and its making me read too much into things... http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~2266086,00.html 'he's part of the team now'...
  7. A bit of advice. It looks like there could be some severe balls ups with seating here. ST holders, take your season tickets with you on the day, that way if you do happen to find someone in your seat you can prove its your seat.
  8. According to Solent Ferguson was in the crowd tonight, reckon he's just as worried now!
  9. Eh?
  10. I think the carlisle game link is great idea. How many people buy their tickets on a game by game basis? Quite a fair percentage I would imagine. THis way it means that no ST holding regular supporters will not miss out because a load of plastic ManUre fans want to come to their one game this millenium.
  11. Anything to do with numptys bringing flares?
  12. What happened to Barry Fry then, did he sell up?
  13. You are 100% correct. Modern balls 'swirl' and hang in the air a lot more than they used to. When I was doing my coaching badge the coach (Keith Grainger) described his drill of 'wait wait go' for coming for crosses, and the explanation was to mentally say 'wait wait' to allow an extra second for judging the flight of the ball. There really aren't a lot of keepers happy to come off their line in a crowded area for anything thats no under the bar.
  14. Don't think theres any 'hero worship' going on, more that most people who aren't blinded by some strange irrational hatred can see that, for the moment, KD is a better keeper. And all thats really important is that what NA thinks, and he has more badges than me so I trust his judgement.
  15. This latest meeting will be played over the weekend of 29 and 30 January. 11pm kick off? Great, loads of drinking time!
  16. Lets hope they play in grey again...
  17. Bart just looks bloody nervous to me, and for a big lad he does flap at more than his fair share of crosses, although whether Kelvin would have even come for them is debateable. Stick with KDs experience for now, the last thing we need going into what could be a tight finish for the top two places is a keeper who bricks it everytime the ball comes near him. Get Bart out on loan to a league 2 club, decent first team experience and gain some confidence, we can always recall him if anything happens to Kelvin.
  18. Nothing to do with 'being a better fan'. A fixture like this will almost certanly sell out, unfortunately a good deal of people going will only be going to watch MU. I don't think its unreasonalbe to offer ST holders their own seats first, then people on the database or those with a blackpool ticket or whatever.
  19. If so, can we please have a couple of days for ST holders to claim there own seats for this one.
  20. I have never wanted a pro players career to be ended by injury, although for that disgusting little **** I will make an exception.
  21. Webb is a disgrace, I'm surprised he hasn't got a UTD shirt on underneath
  22. I realise that, but we are no longer a 'selling club'. I hope Cortese plays hard ball with them and demands it all up front.
  23. This. If they want him, write a cheque for the whole lot. Lets see how much they really want him!

    Bart

Thought he did ok, nothing out of the ordinary. Looked quite nervous to me, although probablynot helped by the crowd getting on his back after his first awful kick. Unfortunately he didn't improve as the game went on. Personally I prefer Davis, yes Bart is more dominating but I just think Davis is the safer of the two. Bart isn't scared to come for a cross but he flapped at a couple and put the defence under pressure, nearly conceding from one of them. He will become a good player, but I think we should send him out on loan as sitting on the bench is doing nothing for his obviously fragile confidence.
  25. I know the one you mean. Think it had a working title of Portsmouth FC...
