  1. Got to lave all the armchair goalies watching from the comfort of their living rooms with no idea of the conditions. Was he at fault for the first? Probably should have one better, but was put in that position by some shocking defending. As for the second well, no keeper in the league would have done anything different in that wind. Also made a couple of excellent, crucial saves, but lets not let that get in the way of a good old slagging eh....
  2. THe only real mistake NA made was not laying the blind c*nt of a ref out in the tunnel at half time!
  3. Another decent gig this month, Black Spiders and Viking Skull at Talking Heads on the 24th.
  4. They were. Didn't think much of the lot before them though, although Defiled were pretty good. Glad to find I wasn't the only Saint braving that sh1thole!
  5. (not clever enough to do the imbedding thing like above)
  6. Aaron Mokoena - Player in the Community? Should be Care in the Community surely?!?
  7. Yes, I'll be there for that one. Should be 'interesting' given the sound in the Guildhall...
  8. The problem we now have as I see it, is KD is beginiing to have a dip in form. This wouldn't be a problem if we had a decent experienced No2 to come in for him. Unfortunately we don't. Bart may well become a top keeper but he needs time, to settle and to build on his clearly fragile confidence, and that is something the club cannot afford to do at this stage of the season. So do we stick with KD, let his experience tell and hopefully let him re-find his form, or drop him, in doing so probably drop his confidence another level, and bring in Bart on a bit of a gamble. If it pays off all well and good, if not we have to re-drop him and bring back KD, who will still be gutted from being dropped first time round, by which time we will probably be hanging on to a play off spot by our fingertips, not when we need a keeper feeling a bit sorry for himself! KD does have the odd clanger in him, that we know, show me a keeper in league 1 who doesn't, but he also has experience, and during his time with us has saved us many many more points than he's cost us, so for me dropping him now would be suicidal.
  9. At that time you should find your traveling in the opposite direction to most of the traffic anyway
  10. Welcome back Ricky, and not a minute too soon!

  14. This. All skate baiting aside, I hope hedoesn't get the op. Less food and more excercise.
  15. The kid shouldn't have been sat on the scoreboard in the first place...
  16. Bloody hope so. Will be nice to have a Chairman who doesn't bend over and get lubed up at the first offer
  17. Like him or not Burley very nearly got us promoted, so yes, I would say his judgement at that time was worthwhile. Thw two Dutch fools, well I'll give you that one, but even then they still have more coaching badges/experience than all the members of this board put together. Now I would have loved for us to have kept RW, easily the best keeper we have had since Niemi, however IIRC he was signed byBurley as a emergency cover because both KD and BB were out injured. One of Pearsons quotes was 'all the while he was at the club KD would be captain'.
  18. Or could it just be half the players are mentally 'saving themselves' for Man u next week? As great as the FA Cup is, i really hope we go out, but obviously with our heads held high.
  19. So you missed Bart dropping one right under his bar the other week?
  20. Still a long way to go and its all very tight for the top 6 places. Teams will slip up, teams will win games they don't expect to. We will be there come the end of the season, and if not, we will do it in the play offs. Keep the faith.
  21. Absolutely. But thats the same as saying we would put Iker Cassillas in front of both of them. He isn't available to us either.
  22. Here we go again... 6, yes SIX managers, who see both players every day of the week, have put Davis in front of Bart. I think there could be a reason for that.
  23. Who forgot to pay the lecky bill? LOL
  24. Anyone know where i can get a green and yellow one so i can look like a proper utd fan?
