He was Nottingham Forests top goal scorer + Forte has pace too, doesn't mean he'll be good in the premier league.

Since 2009 Sharp has been one of the best and most consistant goal scorers in the championship. 60 odd goals in his last 130 odd games. Sharp has been one of the best strikers in the championship for 4 years, i just feel he's earnt a dozen games at the next level to see what he can do. How is that talking crap? This is just a debate right?

Premiership is very much a squad game, hence my surprise when NC said "just one more" Think its naive of MoPo & SFC to sanction the sale or release of 11-14 players and then only sign 2. To then moan about your small squad before the season starts is stupid. Failure to prepare is preparing to fail

Oh ive heard it all now! Why does every thread get turned into an anti Ramirez or Lallana thread? Ramirez was our second best non-striker goalscorer last season that also put in a few good assists, helping a newly promoted team finish 14th when 17th would be good enough for 95% of the fans. No waste in my book and certainly not mentally unfit.

If youre performing at the top level youre at you deserve a chance at the next level up. You maybe found wanting, but you deserve a chance imo. Just like any work enviroment..... If youre one of the top performers at your current grade, you deserve a chance at a promotion.

Its a marathon not a sprint...... But agree a good start would makea nice change. I remember going to Yeovil away for a friendly in the build up to the NPC season. We drew 2-2 and many were worried and/or disgusted with the result and performance We stormed the start of the season though and that set the momentum.
