  1. One spare ticket available. Contact me at hedgeendsaint@outlook.com Will need to collect in Swansea, we will be there around midday.
  2. I was in the lower tier and was made to sit throughout (by a saints steward ). It was the only part of the lower tier (by the corner flag)where they were making people sit. Agree that atmosphere was awful.
  3. Nothing wrong with Hedge End Barry, why not move down here and live the dream ;-)
  4. Just booked our tickets on line - total price with travel card £18.90 each
  5. Yes, a midweek game when Redknapp was in charge
  6. Sorry mate it's gone to BedfordSaint
  7. I have a spare junior ticket available if you're still interested
  8. Was a fantastic send off for Pat, Jack and Steve's words were spot on. By the way Jack, I'm Dave ;-)
  9. Pat Fleet was my brother's father in law. I can honestly say he was one of the most decent, honest blokes you could ever meet but above all he was a friend who helped me through some very tough times in the past. A life long saints supporter who yearned for the days back at the Dell. Rest in peace Patrick, my friend.
  10. RIP James Herbet. The Rats and Lair scared the sh*t out of me when I read them as a teenager!
  11. Going through it at the moment. Best advice I can give is keep the kids away from all the nastiness (I have 3 boys who live with their mum but I'm hoping one day will choose to live with me). My lawyer is Sousa Richards in Southampton and we are using Lamport Bassitt for the mediation (beware though we have only had 3 mediation sessions and already racked up a bill of £1000)
  12. I have 3 boys and the 2 eldest have walked to and from school from the age of 10 (about 3/4 mile each way). The youngest is 8 and he gets dropped part way then walks. They go with their mates and it's pretty safe where I live (grange park). Unfortunately I no longer live with my kids but that's another story :-(
  13. Status Quo 1979 Gaumont (my first gig) Whitesnake 1983 Gaumont (a one off gig as a warm-up for donington) AC/DC 1984 Donington (was an awesome line up including Van Halen, Gary Moore, Ozzy) Lynyrd Skynyrd 2012 Shepherds Bush Empire (worth it just to experience Freebird live)
  14. Did you go mate? Well I did and I'm on the M1 still 3 hours from home and thoroughly hacked off with that performance. I really don't understand people like you when you say " get a grip FFS that's football" I paid good money tonight and took half a day off work so I at least expect to see my team put in a shift. No shots on target in the game says everything and we had no one of quality to bring off the bench. There were 600 of us up there tonight who have been thoroughly short changed so don't f**king tell me I need to get a grip.
  15. You really are a sad individual
  16. Did 79 min dead which i was pleased with considering my training (or lack of ) this year. Was in the same wave as Billy Sharp, I'm sure he came in just ahead of me so surprised when I saw he done around 71 min (maybe I was faster than i thought ;-) )
  17. I've worked in the construction industry for 28 years and have never know a job to stop over a specification issue. The usual reason is a problem with planning, a serious health & safety breach or the client going bust/shelving the project. I've just spoken to the groundworks contractor and they aren't even allowed on site to get their machines, and SFC have put there own security on the gates rather than Leadbitter's. They had no forewarning that works on site were going to be suspended.
  18. Home of RS Southampton FC I think
  19. Oi, I'm a building contractor! I know one of the subbies working on the job so have put a call out to him to see if he know whats going on.
  20. Training has been iffy mainly due to my marriage breaking down! But hey ho, back in to it now and have managed a couple of 10 mile training runs recently. Not confident of getting anywhere near my PB but hope to be around 85min mark. With regards to parking the last 2 years i have parked along the road near the 5 mile marker - there is normally plenty of spaces and is easy to get out of at the end. Also have parked in the town before which is ok but a bit of a trek getting back there at the end.
  21. Because often the system is flawed. I logged on at 8:20 and was able to buy 2 tickets straight away without going through any queing system. It was only when I tried to go back in to check the transaction that the queue page appeared. However I have an email confirming the order so it seems I have beaten the system
  22. Well I have an email from the club confirming an order number and one adult and one junior ticket purchased, so there!
  23. Tickets now available online - just got my 2!
  24. You can take your own food and drink but no alcohol
