  1. Pat Fleet is my brothers father-in-law, I will pm you his email address
  2. Will be doing it again this year, 5th time for me. Hoping for a PB of under 78mins.
  3. 10 points have been deducted now
  4. RIP to a genuine, decent and honest man. 55 when he started blockbusters and went on to become something of a cult hero - a credit to oldies everywhere! BTW - did you really play the sax on baker street
  5. Just bought 6 tickets on line with only one customer number
  6. Tickets are on sale from 3rd Jan, ST holders can claim 2 tickets each. General sale from 10th Jan
  7. Just spoken to someone I know in Baddesley and they said the Echo were outside the pub this morning taking photos. Can't think why they would take an interest in that place unless something of note had taken place there.....
  8. Merry Christmas to one and all. Have a great time and a wonderful and peaceful new year
  9. As I said they gave us 10 tickets instead of 5, my mate has since checked his account and they have taken the money out twice
  10. My mate who organised our tickets didn't get an email. He just went to the TO after the game yesterday and the tickets (for Bursledon bus nr 1) were ready. When he opened the envelope they had given us 10 tickets instead of 5! One lot said 12:15 departure the others 11:20. Utter shambles!
  11. There were 5 of us who got lost on the way back to the station and we ended up going in to a 'home' pub. Luckily for us the locals were as good as gold, had a couple beers then one of them gave us a lift to the station! Guess things could have been a whole lot worse.....
  12. The club used to allow refunds for home or away games (I've done it myself) but now the policy is no refunds allowed however you can 'appeal' in writing and you may, or may not, be successful
  13. 1:21 for me, 3 mins off my PB but still a good race.....also saw myself on TV running behind Hugh Dennis and ended up beating him by 1sec! Saw a fair few runners in Saints shirts and didn't seem to be getting any stick at all.....
  14. What a great, uplifting interview.....feel more positive than ever now about Saints this season. COYR
  15. Looking forward to this one.....anyone know of any decent pubs near the ground?
  16. OK all I know is when I met JS (about 8 years ago) he was very critical of Rupert Lowe because of way he treated Lawrie Mac. But I guess things could have changed since then.
  17. Eric Clapton at the Albert Hall about 8 years ago. Just went through the motions, no audience interration, all in all a very disappointing experience
  18. Cant reply to you Dunce on the 'kicking off' thread because it has been closed. But if you are referring to me as a 'stupid father' then you are very wrong my friend. I took my lad through the north car park, as I always do, unless advised otherwise which today I wasn't. I assumed, wrongly, that the police may have everything under control given the trouble that ocurred earlier in the game but clearly this wasn't the case. You and Tw*tish may think it's funny to see a 9 year old boy crying his eyes out but I don't. If you want to meet for a drink I am in the waterfront before and after every game

    Soccerette

Soccerette was in the Waterfront after the game......looks much better in the flesh than on the TV!
  20. The people on this thread supporting the gypsies at Dowds Farm should invite them to come live next to them. The fact is people (including children)have been threatened by them and Dowds has now become a no go area for my kids. The sooner these scum are moved on the better. And it will be my council tax that pays for the clean up operation when they are gone.
  21. Great show, brought back some special memories...............
  22. It still haunts me 'til this day - I never want to hear Saints fans sing that song
