I think it's agreed that no-one (well the vast majority of people) don't want NC to leave. I don't know whether it's a money thing or whether the trust dislike the fact NC has so much power atm. The original 5-year plan was to get us established in the PL. It's hard to tell where the club wants to go next. Imo, the trust is happy where we are since we are getting all the PL money but NC wants to push to Europe. Just my opinion mind.

I'll admit that there is definitely a conflict between NC and the Liebherr's but from the point of view of the Liebherr trust, they want a chairman who will improve the club and, let's be honest, keep it in the premier league so they can return on it. I just cannot see the logic in replacing the chairman and manager (since he'll leave as well) if they are doing exactly what the Liebherr family want.

Franny?

Agreed. Tbh, I can see next Monday being the day they sort it all out. No more league games to play just down to work planning transfers and putting all this to bed.

Then stop posting on it?

Breaking news sky sports - Pochettino will leave if NC quits
kwsaint replied to Made in Southampton's topic in The Saints
All this is media speculation. I sincerely doubt that NC will leave. -
I'm almost glad really. It gives us the opportunity to focus on improving the club steadily rather than risking Europa League football. You just have to look at Newcastle to see what it did to them. Although I think our starting 11 is better than them, there is no denying they have more depth to their squad atm.

Yeah I saw this. Fair play to them bringing 2500 all the way from Stoke. Although if it was the reverse fixture we would have sold out our allocation already. Should be a good atmosphere though with close to 32000 fans.

5 of us are all going in onesies.

Has anyone else had fraudulent items on their credit card statement to 'WP-SCOACH ETICKET - STOCKPORT'? I have just received another one, having changed credit card numbers twice already. The only way that the fraudsters can get the number is either through the vendor, by a virus on the PC, or by physically having the card. No-one has had the card, I always keep virus controls up to date (I work in IT), so I strongly suspect that it has come from a vendors system. The only vendor that appears on all three cards is the Saints web-site from when I buy tickets. Which may mean that there is a fraud going on in the ticket office. Anyone else had the same problem?

Try the County Arms. Top of the hill near the hospital.

The BBC article on MP mentions that there are two players about to sign 'Behind the scenes the club is already working hard to plan for next season. Two players are already close to agreeing transfers, and one or two more may follow.' Left footed defender almost certain to be one of them.

I think that Lallana is a premier league player, unlike a couple from yesterday who clearly aren't (Fox, Hooiveld), but he is not playing consistently, and his positional sense is not always good. Time to leave him out in my view and get him to work his way back into the team

Dare I say it but with all these JCLs in the Northam it isn't what it was. Everyonee seems to think on this forum that ST holders on the epiphany of saint supporters but it's not true. I'm not saying that every ST holder doesnt sing but can you deny that the atmosphere last year was so much better?

I was in the Chapel. Fox slid in, studs up, and was late. He got a straight red, which was totally deserved. He had already been booked for pulling back Lukaku when he got wrong side of him.

SAINTS 0-3 West Bromwich Albion // Post-Match Reaction
kwsaint replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Just back. Worst home game since the Championship relegation season. Clarke out thought MP. Three up and pressing, and constantly switching. Defence had no idea. We just tried to play our normal game when it was crying out for a change in tactics. Bit like the Bristol City game last season but much worse. Hooiveld's limitations shown up. Fox just dreadful. Boruc made some smart stops, but there did not seem much confidence between defence and keeper. Lukaku was superb. If his finishing was as good as his movement then it would have been more than three. Watching the attempted Mexican wave from the Chapel end was mildly amusing. Only consolation is that we should never see Fox in a Saints shirt again and we won't be playing in Europe next season via the fair play league. Also wonder if that is the last we have seen of Ramirez -
I was all for it last year since we were promoted but this year I think it would be nicer if everyone stayed in the stands and the team did a lap of honour instead. Your thoughts?

20 years ago, the internet was in it's infancy. Now it's global. My question is, what will saints web be like in 20 years?

Wigan vs Man City is the FA Cup final so that should be Arsenal away. Apart from that I can't see anything wrong although it is an extremely unlikely set of results.

All this negativity towards west ham fans got my wondering if we actually like any fans? The only one I could think of was Coventry. Your thoughts?

You woke me up this morning. I am not happy.

Today, the government announced it was banning companies on charging "excessive" surcharges when using card to pay. Do you think this will reflect in the surcharges charged at saints?
