It's probably been discussed earlier in this thread but I can't be bothered to look. My recollection is that AAP's sponsorship agreement expires at the end of next season. So unless they renew, we will be going through this whole circus again in 12 months time. Although I guess that this holds out the remote possibility of getting the stripes back.

I think that the club has missed a trick here. Go back to stripes and shirt sales will be far more than for the red shirts. It doesn't make sense.

When Saints played their first home game at SMS against Chelsea we broke the home attendance record that had stood since the Man U game in 69 (I am discounting Mick Channon's testimonial in 76 when goodness knows how many got into the Dell) Has any other club moved grounds in the past 25 years and subsequently broken their attendance record?

I was in the second row of the Milton for the West Ham game when he clattered the post. I seem to remember that the ball hit both posts before going in. He definitely hit the post in front of us. One of the bravest goals I have seen. He was on all fours after the goal clearly well out of it.

Anyone any idea what has actually been going on? This isn't club sacks manager and they agree compensation afterwards. This is suspension, formal disciplinary process, followed by sacking. No compensation. Unfortunately had to do a couple of these myself. Can't say I like the bloke much, if watching the way that his sides play and conduct themselves is anything to go by. Brighton at SMS in the Championship promotion season were constantly niggling and hassling the ref. Typical of the way that he gets them to play.

I wouldn't treat someone differently for supporting Portsmouth if they were civil and human. Unfortunately the majority of Portsmouth fans are **** heads and think that because we support different teams that's a good reason to hate someone. I wouldn't hate someone unless they hated me first.

Watching the highlights of Scotland last Friday playing like a WGS side reminded me of the 2 1/2 years he spent with Saints. Apart from the cup final, his post match interviews were priceless.
