Have to say that made me chuckle.

Believe it's the 28th December (up at Goodison anyway).

Stunning performance. We did that to a number of sides in the Championship season (Middlesbro at home for example), but to do that to a Premier League team and to keep it up for 90 minutes was superb. Great time to be a Saints fan and with all the young players, this team will just get better.

Feature piece on Saints tomorrow from 6pm on Sky Sports News

I was in Italy a couple of weeks ago for work, and the taxi driver in Milan spoke good English. The corruption in Italian football had stopped him watching AC Milan. He was following English football, knew all about Saints players and that we were doing well. He named Lambert, Boruc, Osvaldo. Next one threw me. How is Do Prado doing? -
It's now got to be a complete joke. I don't think that Lawrensen pays enough attention to any of the teams in the premier league to be able to make sensible predictions. He is not much more than a pub bore who watches MOTD highlights and thinks he knows everything. I don't think that he is inept, I just think that he is lazy.

Watched Sunshine on Leith last weekend with my wife and son. Very enjoyable. Was on You Tube and came across a clip of Hibs fans singing Sunshine on Leith after the CIS cup final a few years back. I thought that it was amazing. Your thoughts?

Norwich at home in 2005 when Kamara scored

Saw this on You Tube. Apologies if it is embedded in another thread. Legend

And spend the loose change left over on a cover for LB

St James's Park (or whatever it's called nowadays) is pretty big and it's a long way away. Would imagine we'd be OK for Newcastle and Sunderland.

I think it will be Eterna tbh.

Completely agree. Everyone seems to agree that booing your own player is unacceptable and it is but it doesn't mean we have to play him because if we don't it's unfair on him otherwise we'd still be with the squad we were with in L1. He was the worst player on the pitch imo but tried his best and didn't cause too many mistakes. I don't think we should put up with it though. I'm all for supporting the players but if we are really going to go for Europe we just can't have him in the squad. I would be surprised if anyone actually thinks he's a premier league player. Scotland don't even play him and play Greer and Hanley who both play for championship sides. Alas, some people have the attitude that any criticism towards their own players is bad but it's not if it's constructive. The "haters" should grow up and feck off but we don't need to put up with him and the liability he is towards the team.

I got the feeling clyne was otherwise preoccupied in covering our defence. We seemed to be playing a 3-4-2 formation (yes I can do maths). I've made my views on Fox clear but his lack of confidence had an effect on our defence and caused them to be squeezed in. I agree the J Rod should play as I for one am really impressed by him at the moment.

Were some of these posters actually at the game? Osvaldo is a class player and shows really good commitment to the team. When Lallana scored the whole team went to celebrate. Agree about Ramirez. Don't think that we will be seeing much of him again and he could well be off in January. If we could get a backup to Shaw then that would help a lot.

I have to admit I called him ****e at one point in the game but I agree continual abuse isn't great. I feel sorry for him as he does try he just isn't up to standard. If Boruc wasn't having a great game we could easily have drawn this due to defensive errors (not wholly but greatly caused by him). If he doesn't move it will ruin his confidence and he'll become worse than he actually is (which is a mid to top championship player imo).

Its not ideal, but I would have had Clyne at left back and Chambers at right back today. Fox was woeful. His position is not Championship standard, let alone Premier league. Lovren, Fonte and Boruc stopped passing to him in the second half and he gave the ball away a number of times. And his confidence is completely shot. We got away with it today. Don't like getting on the back of our own players but he is simply a liability. Fortunately Boruc was superb today. Hope he doesn't play as well against England on Tuesday week.

This has my vote. Haven't used that tune yet and has more than 6 syllables in it

I wasn't at the united game in 69, but I was in the relegation season of 74. Last home game of the season, just under 31000 there and gates locked at just after 2. Don't remember seeing much of the game. United supporters everywhere.

Post Match Reaction & MotM: SAINTS 2-0 Crystal Palace
kwsaint replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Last time we were fourth in the league was after the win against Portsmouth in December 2003. It all went a bit down hill in the second half of that season during which WGS left. We are definitely much stronger now than we were then. -
For future transfer activity, lets avoid Serie A...

Should MP be sacked if we don't get 3 points at Anfield?

Maybe we should just get Lowe back. He was a way better chairman than NC will ever be. -
I have to say I did think Ricky Tomlinson had lost some weight if he was managing Liverpool now.

Which works out as about 4%ish
