I believe Man U get special dispensation as they have such a big stadium they can offer slightly less to away fans. I believe it's about 7% not the normal 10%. But yes, we would get more.

Made a point tonight that Saints had yet to score this season from open play. Factually correct as the two goals that we have scored came from a penalty and a free kick. But it came across as a real dig. I realise that he is a skate, and therefore likely to be bitter and twisted. Has anyone actually met him? Is there any substance in the forum view that South Today has a pro-Pompey bias as a consequence of his involvement?

Although not announced, I think I am right in thinking ML bought us for around £15million giving the creditors about 50 pence in the pound. If you were to add up all the assets and future revenue now, how much do you reckon it would add up to? Is £150million an optimistic estimate?

Not necessarily a bad thing but I have noticed a number of teams we've played against only use 1 or 2 whereas we pretty much use all three every week. Just an observation.

I joined saints forever (as it was then) when Lowe was running the club and no-one had any idea what state it was in. It seems to me that from the days where the football was so bad the forum was good, people have become monotonous in their threads. Per week I guarantee a thread on: 1) stadium expansion 2) why the ticket office is the worst in the PL 3) why MP hasn't learnt English in his interviews 4)mark lawrenson has predicted us to lose 5)any streams that are available Surely 5 could be solved by just listing streams and then sticking the thread? As for the other 4 I just ask people think before posting another thread on such topics before looking through the past 14 days using the search bar.

Given the amount of money spent on Osvaldo - which still looks a good deal to me - and the quality of our midfield, I am wondering whether we will just cash in on Ramirez. He is clearly a quality player, but not quite performing at the level that we would expect. He may just not have settled. It happens sometimes.

Saw it on MOTD. It was marginal whether Lallana was offside, but there was another player (RL?) who was stood in front of the keeper. Even though he didn't touch it under the new 'getting in the way' rules this season he was definitely offside even though he didn't touch it. Not much doubt about the penalty either. Looked pretty clear cut.

Like one or two other players in the England squad, Carroll gets picked on reputation, rather than on form. Playing for West Ham does him no favours, as he is simply used as a target for high balls. In my view he is a capable of much more than just that, and could fulfil a similar role to RL given a chance. He is potentially a really good international player. But he needs to work on these aspects of his game and it won't happen at West Ham. In terms of what he adds to the team, I would have RL ahead of Carroll any day.

I don't want to hear the "you should always watch saints regardless of the cost because that is rubbish. Especially in this economic climate, i'm interested to find out at what people would say no. I'd say anything over £60 for the cheapest ticket at sms and I'd contemplate not going. Your thoughts?
