Wasn't at the game, nor did I listen to it, but I have been frustrated that Connelly seems to be prefered to Lee at the moment. Was gutted that we didn't get to see Lee against Burnley, as I thought he looked excellent against Cardiff . That said, I thought Connelly had a fair impact against Burnley. I just hope Adkins is making sure Lee is well and truly ready.

Really enjoyed the second half. Lambert amazing as was Lallana. Puncheon is a breathe of fresh air as actually has some movement into the middle. Lee (or yes, Tandoori Lee as the daft casual racist behind me said, lol) looked really exciting. Connolly poor and was calling for him to be subbed for Hammond at least 15mins earlier. Richardson is my Guly (I.e. I hate him!)

It certainly wasn't a booming debut, but it was ok. He was better in the first half, but then eveyone looked nervy for the first 30mins of the second half. My main issue was him heading it accidently behind him/up in the air into the danger zone when their forwards were running at us, as others have eluded to, but can't imagine this will be a consistent thing. He seemed quite comfortable on the ball and did pass it out well. Happy with the signing but think Martin could do a similar job.

Just remembered Freddy Piquionne is still there. He's too good for bench surely? I've only watched West Ham on TV where they played Cole upfront with Piquionne as a late sub, anyone know whether they play them both up front usually?

I have to say, if we are to believe that we have been in for Gorkss, Jemal and Fontaine, and they have all fallen through, this is quite worrying! Gorkks was the one I was hoping for.
