Thought he did well. Thing that suprised me, as supersonic said, is that he looked much taller than I thought. Wonder if he scores a lot of headers??

I can see that it's annoying if you sit near the steps as you always get some plonkers who stand and watch, but generally couldn't care less. The only time I left a few mins early (to get a lift with a mate) some knob said "Got something better to do!?". Really can't see why anyone would feel the need to comment. The guy infront of me said "yeah got a train to catch" and can fully understand why he was annoyed, having some moron shouting at you when you have a perfectly valid excuse. If I was driving I would leave a few mins early unless the game was on a knife edge.

Richardson is so infuriating. He just hoofs it to no-one once he gets near the half way line. Happier with butterfield but strangely still think right back is a slightly weak position.

I like them all. I'd be happy to rotate them a little - Chaplow and Hammond away from home for a little more bite, Morgan and Chaplow at home perhaps. Nice having quality options though!

Reading all these reviews of the game I am so annoyed that we seem to be punting the ball rather than keeping it on the ground. No matter how bad the pitch is surely we will have the advantage if we play a passing game. As a hoofball team we are poor. Can anyone tell me was Richardson one of teh main offenders? At the Notts county game he infuriated me with his diagonal long floating crosses.

I thought it was a pen, but I was sitting in Kingsland North, so didn't have the greatest view. Actually completely forgot about that appeal!

The only player i thought was particularly poor today was Richardson. Cannot stand those horrid diagonal 'crosses' he keeps doing after he gets over the half way line - so easy for their defenders. Not having a go at Gobern as he isn't a regular but for me he looked well off the pace apart from the first few mins he was on when he did some nice touches. Suprised some people thought Oxo was poor, I thought he was outstanding at times despite fading at the end. Also thought Guly and Morgan were particularly good as were our CB's. Poor day, but a poor day after a fantastic few weeks! COYR

I agree. I think now that we have got this far we should play our best team (bar players that need a rest). If we start slipping down the table I may start to feel differently though. Arsenal away i'm crossing my fingers for. Or even at home. Would love to see Walcott back!

I think he's been exactly what we needed. Agree with Give it to Ron, love seeing him charge into the box!

No way I want to see Hammond and Morgan together in midfield. Last Sat made such a difference having Chaplow making constant runs into the box and allowed hammond to play the proper holding role which he looked really comfortable doing. Hammond and Morgan are just too similar IMO.

The thing I find amusing is that they are probably reading this thread and agreeing, completely oblivious to the fact that they are the tw*ts we are all talking about!

Damn. They said they really have no idea and after speaking to a few of the players was not aware of a rift. Has said before though that Cortese is a 'horrendous individual' and would not be suprised if it was an accumulation of events.

OOOOOH I feel like a gossipy woman listening to all these rumours and txting people! It is exciting. I have contacted my source (which I try to avoid doing as I know it must be annoying and can get them in trouble).
