Onuachu had some decent appearances where he did look like a handful (and scored a few goals), but he doesnt have the natural fitness to play high intensity football. He would do a job next season to throw on and cause a bit of mayhem, but he'll almost certainly be gone and hopefully we'll have a pacy, fitter and physical striker to replace him with (not Ross Stewart)!

Pretty ineffective is being generous! I think he's scored something like 2 goals in 2 seasons.

Seems weird that Sonnie Davis has seemingly got a new contract at right back where Payne and Abu, two much better players (currently) have been released. Maybe due to club contacts with his Dad? Or maybe he's actually really good? 🙂

Well we dont owe Rangers / Martin any favours. He'd love to have his mate with him I'm sure, but we'd be looking to get at least as much as we paid for him, which is far beyond Rangers' reach. Rumours of Ramsdale are surely even more far fetched in terms of fee!

Nottingham Forest have spunked £40 million on both Anderson and Gibbs-White (after a good season in the Championship) and yet want to get Fernandes, a player much better than what those players were at those points in their career for probably around £25 million? Doesn't feel overly realistic. Their owner seems like a ticking time bomb anyway, and can see them struggling with European football and the league next season.

He was certainly one of our top 20 players last season but he wasn’t even close to being in our top 5 or 6 players! He’s a fairly decent Championship level recycler but he’s far too lightweight and doesn’t offer enough going forward to be at the level we need

Leicester to finally get their punishment? Don't know how they skipped out of it last time, but due to the history of lack of punishments, I wouldn't hold my breath it'll happen anytime soon. Weren't Ipswich also looking quite dodgy, along with Birmingham (net spend ~£30m in League One!)?

If he were 10 years old and had played 500 pro games I'm pretty sure he'd be one of the most famous sports people on the planet.

Wood is not the best, the fact that he's played in 14 games this season probably shows where our issues lie. Hopefully he'll be ok on the bench for next season in the Championship, but probably don't want to be starting with him too often if serious about promotion. Was Bednarek banned or injured? Or just not selected as moving on? Got good hopes for Sanda and Robinson though - don't know if either will play regularly next season but think Robinson especially can make an impact probably off the bench initially.

Fernandes and Ramsdale. KWP in a distant third I guess if we had to go that far.

See loads of people on Twitter asking "why is this near 30 year old clogging up the u21s" and "why is a 24 year old playing here" etc. He's still only (just turned) 20 right? He won't be the answer next season, but could be an option off the bench / in the cups and hopefully he can make the step up, having not pulled up trees in a (very poor) Cambridge side in League One.

Wood was awful in pre-season and looked like he could give Callum Davenport a run for his money as one of our worst ever centre backs. Following those first couple of glimpses, I was quite surprised he didn't do too badly in his first few appearances near the end of Martin's reign, but he will need to improve big time to be a genuine starter for us (if we're serious of promotion). I would imagine if both Bednarek and ABK go (along with probably Harwood-Bellis sadly) a proper centre back signing will be our main priority for the window.

Would Ipswich not be in a bit of trouble with finances? Spent net ~£130million this year and were in League One the season before last so potentially need to sell a bit more than just Delap and Davis? That said, seeing as barely anything ever happens, they will probably spend another net £50million and be fine!

I think that was Fatawu, who was on loan from Sporting and they signed him permanently in the summer. He picked up a bad injury earlier in the season and has been out for quite a while now.
