Ha ha that poll is great. "I'm a season ticket holder and will be asking for my money back" good luck with that...

I've heard a few people (including some on the news) saying this but I really don't understand why. If he'd said that the copper should be "taken out and shot" then you'd have a point but I can't see how its relevant. Anyway... the MP has clearly managed to make himself look like a complete t it. If he's lied about what he said then even more so.

Does anybody else keep mis-reading the thread title as "Badger Cull Competition"?
-
It doesn;t make it fair on the badgers, but for the same reason you try and kill malaria transferring mosquitoes I'd Imagine.
-
And it's only reasonable for them to be competitive...

Dof looks like a good development to me. Yes it might not be realistic that the manager can hire and fire the dof but the game would be f'ing frustrating if you found yourself doing a good job with the team but found yourself getting fired because you'd fallen out with the dof because of a personality clash. By allowing the player to hire\fire it gives the gamer the option. If you don't like it, don't hire one. Problem solved.

So the PST would like the F.A. To: 1) stick to the FAPPT to ensure that Chainrai can't buy they club 2) stop imposing all these unresonable FAPPT requirements on the PST Seems reasonable. Double face palm thingies

I read it as another new company purchasing all of the assets from the administrator, including fat pipes at a price agreed with the debenture holder.
-
Yes we will. The ground is still owned by the company in administration. Any amounts raised from its sale will be in the admionistrator's final receipts and payments.

Really? That's me looking like an ill-educated chump then...

This was my initial thought too, however everything seems secure and even holding it down makes absolutely no difference. I'm 99% sure that the drum is loose or moving more than it should and so a duff spring (or similar) sounds likely. Did you know what you were doing before you attempted the repair? Thanks for the advice everyone. Much appreciated. I really need to get this sorted before the first little one arrives. 4 weeks and counting...

Does anybody know anything about washing machines? Our hotpoint washer dryer has (in the last week or two), started maing a hell of a noise during the spin cycle. It's fine drying and during the rest of the wash but during the spin, when it is spinning at its fastest, it makes a hell of a banging noise. It doesn't seem to be lose and the best that I can tell the noise is coming from the drum shaking, although I may be wrong. Its just out of warantee. I can get somebody to come out but would prefer to fix it myself if it's something simple/a common problem. Does anybody who knows about these things have any suggestions? Thanks, CS

Calm down dear(s)! No money has been conjured from thin air. No additional football creditors have evaporated into thin air. They're still *ucked.

Too many questions to be able to say. 1) Does the fact that they now only have 18 year olds on the books mean that they are operating at break even? It so then TB could continue to run the club in Admin allowing more time to reach a solution. 2) How much will Chinny actually accept to release his charge on FP? If it is unrealistic TB could apply to court to sell it to somebody else at a realisic (or only slightly inflatated) valuation. This will take time though. 3) Can the trust raise the funds? I doubt it. 4) Might a 3rd party enter negotiations? Probably unlikely unless they are now able to trade at break even. IMO Q1 is the most important. If they are now abel to operate at break even (PP covering deferals) then they have the time to reach a solution. If not liquidation probably becomes the most likely outcome. All speculation obviously. Without knowing details none of us can make a realistic assessment.

The advertisments on this page are now promoting will drafting... Lol In terms of the CVA, TB will need to follow the wording of the agreement. I haven't read the proposal (and don't intend to), however I seem to recal there being an amendment allowing TB to seek alternative investors to replace Portpin. If this is the case then the trust may simply be able to make a proposal under the existing agreement and so a new vote may not be required.

He really is a rock. They are so lucky to have an insparational motivator like Appy. I can see them pulling together and team spirit and hard work earning them promotion. This is akin to Churchill's "We will fight them on the beaches" speach.

Where's he giving his "press conference" from? He looks like he's in his Gran's living room... And in relation to the new keeper "‘I think he can play on Saturday and it’s a contract that can be ripped up at any time. I think it’s for a month." ...so he appears to have had no involvement in the deal at all... he really is a collosus.

Skybet seem to have withdrawn the option to bet on anything other than win/draw/loss. Shame.

A ticket and £1000 worth of beer (towards the £300m benefit of P*mpey to the local community).
-
If we replace the P in P*mpey with a B to call Bournemouth Bompey, should P*mpey fans be doing something similar with the "Sc" of Scummers?
-
Is it not 2% of 20% = 0.4%?
