50/50 One chap started cheating on his Mrs shortly after she fell pregnant with their first (and only). Everything came out just before the birth. In the other the girl started cheating... and then fell pregnant. Messy.

That's what I thought but I don't remember ever registering before. I suppose I could have done AGES ago, but wouldn't have ever posted. Maybe I used a user name which identified me as a farrrking skummaaaaa. The block is both at home and at work which is especially thourough of them.

Has POL shut down new registrations completely? Even if I set up a brand new e-mail account I get a message telling me that my e-mail address has been banned by the administrator. Shame.
-
It will work out close to the same priority but why are tickets not going on sale at each date to people with [x[ loyalty points? Why bother with loyalty points if they are going to just priorotise based upon (simlar but) differen criteria?

Changing a company to 'not for profit' status and back again
Clapham Saint replied to Tokyo-Saint's topic in The Lounge
I think your accountant has completely misunderstood the principle of a not for profit company. He is however correct that he is not an expert. -
http://www.pompeytrust.com/index.php?option=com_rokdownloads&view=file&Itemid=109&id=109:pfc-trust-booklet-final-final My favourite bit... "Due to the nature of football and current situation at Portsmouth FC there might be some fluctuations in numbers"

Daddy (our first is 5 weeks today)

A staggering 36 players have represented Pompey, of which 7 have since left the club... With the squad at the maximum of 20...etc I need to have a word with my old maths teachers. To think that I didn't realise that 36-7=20. Shame on me.

He's clearly a good player but he couldn't win a header to save his life. even challenging for one would be a good start
-
guys, you really wouldn't. There's a reason most photos of her are head only. from the neck down she's a whale (pun intended)
-
so the plan is to spend all the money that they have, up front, on buying the club and it will all be fine as the pledges will definitely be enough to cover running costs. that sounds like a prudent way to start the new era. good to see that things have changed
-
very good! :-)

Appleton said: ‘From my point of view, until I’m contacted by Bolton or any other club out there or I’m contacted by the administrator to tell me there’s an interest, I’ll continue to work with the players. Or in other words "Please contact me". Pompey leg end

The problem with the franchise system is that if you make the broad (very broad) assumption that better service = lower profit then the profit insentive for the operators is to do JUST enough to keep the franchise and no more. for me competition will only work if I can go to a station and choose between two trains for the same journey on the same day and I can't see how that is going to be possible.

So attendance should be 2420 higher than the last game. (Plus however many adults are needed to look after them)Unless even people given tickets for free don't want to go...? Nah... Surely not...
-
to be fair to him, this doesn't necessarily mean that the companies were insolvent.
-
Is it really fair to tax somebody (high earner or otherwise) 50% (or 45 or 40) of their income, as they earn it, and then tax them again because they have had the audacity to own the remaining 50%?
-
Tory I presume?
-
Out of curiosity, how do posters on here define "Super Rich"? Do you have to have income of thousands, hundreds of thousands, millions?
-
MLG, when were the database and player stats finalised? I would guess that if being finalised now players like lambert might be better (after a cracking start) than they would have been if finalised before the season started (when it remained to be seen if his form would carry through at the top level)
-
Ha ha that poll is great. "I'm a season ticket holder and will be asking for my money back" good luck with that...
-
I've heard a few people (including some on the news) saying this but I really don't understand why. If he'd said that the copper should be "taken out and shot" then you'd have a point but I can't see how its relevant. Anyway... the MP has clearly managed to make himself look like a complete t it. If he's lied about what he said then even more so.

Does anybody else keep mis-reading the thread title as "Badger Cull Competition"?
-
It doesn;t make it fair on the badgers, but for the same reason you try and kill malaria transferring mosquitoes I'd Imagine.
-
And it's only reasonable for them to be competitive...
