  2. COYR Go for it....No half hearted effort to-day....Must win Saints
  3. I am a Salzey Luvvie or even a Corbbey Luvvie....Like, good old Crouchey, but he is not my type, but would like to see him back with the old crowd managed by a really good leader to control the group...Salz is my tip but there are other good examples.....Long shot would be to call Gavyn Davies to Chair, say for one year or til the end of the season......Sort it out.. SOG YOU KNOW FULL WELL, Most can be managed for the best of the club and the business.....But one man will not let anyone manage him and try to glean/harness his best qualities (he does have some...he could also return some respect to his locker) and move forward together in the hope there will be a chance to save us. You know it makes sense but Lowey will never let anything spoil his play with his toy.....Sorry, that is how I feel....NOT HATRED AS you put it, more like realism of a situation that has to be sorted NOW.... I want us to win, no matter what. But I get the impression all your posts are all Lowey and eventually you are worse than us so called anti Lowe brigade.. Most if not all of us want what is best for the long term good of our beloved club......Even a saddo like me could see Lowey very early, taking us down the pan.. Tongue in cheek when I call you a Luvvie or a Pixxie.. Your still a fellow Saints supporter and although I think all CPS are up themselves and could never make a correct decision to save their lives....You may be the exception to that as well. No arrogance on my part......Salz, Gavyn Davies or whoever...just thoughts.. They may have been asked already.......WE CAN NOT CARRY ON AS A CLUB WITH THESE DIVISIONS.......They will end up strangling each other and eventually kill The Saints. Cheer up and let us hope the Saints win against Donney to-day. By the way your not a LUVVIE anymore ...Your an old HAM.
  4. Crouchey not given near enough time to finish the job he inherited after Wildeys lot of cowboys and Lowey and his mob before that. With Mary Corbett, I think Crouchey would have brought the stability and a better strategy to the financial restructuring and together with someone like Salz in the chair we could have gone forward with Pearson as Manager AND THE FOOTBALL team being run much more professionally. I accept it appears a pipedream at the moment regarding financial investment, but as shown under Lowey...No chance there either. Lowey and Wildey no realistic strategy between two failed business men and not a drop of football sense either. I wonder how Wildey feels now...No chance of recovery for his investment AND being totally sidelined and ridiculed in both the Football and Business world. You even now have Loweys angels on this forum doing the MASTERS work and continually ridiculing and blaming Wildey for everything Lowey has messed up.. Wildey that is what FRIENDS are for......Mr Wilde, you have been had over...Make it up with Crouchey and Corbey and insist on someone LIKE..Salz in the chair knocking all the heads together...You know it makes sense....The way your heading at the mo..Lowey will finish you, more ways than one. COYR
  5. I hope you looked him right in the eye and gave him a right telling off. Met him a few times and Gentle Giant sums him up very aptly. Really enjoying all the various posters anecdotes.
  6. Wayne Bridge and James Beattie Invited into the Players lounge, with a very young lad, who had the same initial and Surname as Wayne. So, on his Saints shirt he obviously had W. Bridge, although his surname was Woodbridge. He was so excited and his parents could not believe the reception from Saints players. When introduced to Wayne, I expected just a quick signature on the young lads Shirt and programme and away. But Wayne took the time to talk to the lad and then introduced him to other players including James Beattie, who also gave him time and attention....All the stick these players take and these two James and Wayne spent time talking to this lad as if he was an old friend. There is obviously more to the story, but suffice to say the two footballers in question are superstars, to this young lad, who will live with the memory forever. Met Mr Bridge senior and given him a lift home to Winchester and taken to his local pub and his local club. He introduced me to friends and family and made me feel special..Should be the other way round as I had idolised (like most Saints players...its what we do) his son. More to the point , Wayne has supplied on numerous occasions, Saints, Chelsea and England, signed shirts for various charities etc at his own expense. Mr Bridge senior is still a great fan of Saints and still watches them when he can..Brought up on Saints as a Vospers worker...like most of us, its in the blood.
  7. Ron Davies every day of the week, a superstar.
  8. I would watch out for that Bank Manager at Barclays...Very friendly with a lot of the wives.
  9. Hearing it was all a wind up and at last, they have taken down the picture of The Puffer Train......I keep having nightmares and constantly worrying about this and thinking, Rupert, was deadly serious about place of honour for said picture. I am also looking forward to The picture of me holding the FA cup being placed on said wall at St Marys....Taken when it was brought to St Marys for the day....I just had to do it.....Should hear the missus laugh and snaringly say.."Did you help win it then?" Course I replied, "Sure did, me and 40,000 other fans screaming our lungs out."...Bobby Stokes, God Bless You.

    A plea

Is Craig David still our goalkeeper then?
  11. It is fun and I for one think you are to be thanked for some of the not so clever posters who just keep up. It is obvious the standard of poster on this site when you see their team selection...But me I am right up to speed and know exactly what is going on. Just so I haven't missed anything lately..Please correct me if I have got it wrong....So far I have Ali Dia and Peckhart as our A team strikers with Makin and Pulis as our centre Backs. With Hammill and Ripley on the wings....What happened to my shout for Perry Groves and that Centre Back Marshall? Keep going, your doing a grand job. Thank you. Ps Saints to win 6-1 this Saturday.
  12. You little pixie you....I think Lowey might save us yet...Give him a chance. your my only mate John, unless you introduce me to Rupert, as he needs friends, I hear. Keep smiling. COYR
  13. We can give Pereplotkins a trial and at the same time, Griffit, Lupoli and any other cast off. During said trial we throw in Gasmi, Forecast, Pulis, Smith etc and see if anyone is up to it....If not bin the lot...even those on long contracts like Pulis. Lets not waste any more money on long shot hopefuls....we need experience like one size and Saga....The experiments can go to the under 15/16s. Saints to beat Donny this week. COYR
  14. 3-1 to Saints...Put money on it.. Coyr Just in case I am wrong 3-1 to Doncaster.
  15. Speaking fluent Italian...It says, as he is useless and can't get a game anywhere, he will work in his uncle Albertinis Restorante in Southanpton and play for The Clump on Sunday mornings.
  16. Due to a Saints connection...My second team is now Perth Glory in good old Oz. Future star, Scott Neville , son of ex Saint, Steve, now performing for this side..One to watch...maybe for Saints one day.
  17. Last I heard, Keith was a Police Officer in Herts.
  18. Played football at Basingstoke 75/76 with Cliff Huxford....Not only a really hard man, but in training, during games or in the changing, room an absolute inspiration. Had many chats to a very nice fella who served Saints well and even later in life when I saw him play for Ex Saints in his later years still giving 100% Saints could do with this type of all action hardman in the middle on Saturday.
  19. The ones you did not mention...The non Saints supporters of varying types on this forum.
  20. Thanks for the report of the game..Sounds like some players with lots more work to do...Loans would be appropriate in several players interest...Some just not getting enough games and not ready to step up to the first team when required.. Cheers.
  21. In the main, I almost, totally agree with you.
  22. Spurs pay the wages and we get both Huddlestone and Jenas on loan....Isn't Arry good freinds with our Chairman? If not Pele could play that Anchor midfield role...size, strength and name.
  23. Speedy recovery, Whitey, you are a great young player and you will still make it to the top. You will come back stronger and better...Keep your chin up and fight your way back to the first team....Contract without fail.
  24. I think it is only just warming up again.
