I am surprised that an old striker Like JE or John, Rasiak, Saga or even Roy of The Rovers have not taken him aside and carried out a little mentoring about attitude, running channels, timing runs, positional etc etc....Coaches not playing right systems etc or tactical changes/selections/substitutions to suit our star striker..... Then again if he was that good most of this would be natural to him......Just maybe he had as a youth and now he has some how lost it.... I know I had it once but now I'VE LOST IT FOR GOOD...So my wife told me....

I have a red and white outfit. A yellow and blue outfit. Did not get the grey..Did not suit me.. I would loan both Gasmi and Pulis to Aldershot,Bournemouth/Yeovil/Exeter now for 4 weeks...Then they get match fit and someone can see them play a full competitive game......This should have happened when both attained fitness to get games due to insufficient Reserve games......You can not put untried untested LEAGUE 1/2 STANDARD PLAYERS STRAIGHT INTO A TOP SIDE LIKE SAINTS, without games or knowing what they are made of.......Neither has played properly for 5/6 months and Pulis may never have played professional football before....Not sure about Gasmi.......Are these two 17/18 years of age?

I think we ugently require more games from somewhere or behind closed doors matches, otherwise our players returning from injury will not get anywhere match fit when required... Training alone will not bring these players up to the high level our first team have attained.

Heard the same story about a football team in Southampton not so long ago.

Correct me If I am wrong he has had 2 games and not full 90....Really no match fitness other than training.....Even for first team usually at least a couple sub fo15/20 to bring in side for pace etc.....There is no guarantee he is any better than what we have... Pulis more time required.

According to OS Derby equalised in 90+5 which must have been heartbreaking at the time...But good on the youth to go on and win 3-1...... If we can get Navyred back we could have update.....Otherwise hoping someone else gives the SP..love to hear how we will fair with this group. COYR

From sensible logic will need at leat 2/3 full reserve games as is yet to attain full fitness let alone match fitness. Apparently it is the same with Pulis who will need 3/4 reserve games.. It has been very premature putting either player anywhere near the first team and a strange decision by The management/coaches....Both were out for some time with injuries and there is still concern that they may not be good enough for our high class squad. All info supplied by a highly respected tea lady...Before you ask.....Original estimate way back was that if good enough and if obtaining match fitness may be ready for xmas.

How much longer does A Director of Football and his ten Dutch Coaches/Scouts need to put a team together even under the financial restraints they have far exceded in the 20 loans to date of which only about 3/4 are worthwhile team players....Posters on this forum would have accrued more points to date...
