Does not make Mr Forecast a bad goalie.....he may have had a stomach upset on the day:( He is our 5th choice goalkeeper and I would ask my fellow fans not to take the piiish he is a very young goalkeeper who may well develop late in life:scared:.......a Spurs fan told me that;)

Well done NA..........So far sooooooo good and everything going in the right direction... I was one of the doubters when he was given the job.....more than happy to admit he has proven me so wrong and derry boy soooo right..(only thing that derry has ever got right and I believe it was a guess on his part:rolleyes:) One area that I believe that NA has highlighted..... Morgan in centre midfield.....a young player developing but who was never ready to take the strain at his stage of his career. Many of his fans on this forum were correct...Morgan is a very good player and will in my opinion develop into a top team player...hopefully at Saints... HOPING HE SIGNS A NEW CONTRACT?????? AND CONTINUES IN OUR SQUAD/TEAM NA by aquiring Cork and continuing to see the great value Hammond gives the side in the middle....particularly the combination of the two as the right unit for our style of play.. Great to have the likes of Morgan and Chappers around to utilise at the right time in games...Morgan could further develop with us by watching and playing with Cork and Hammond.. Most would disagree...but I believe we will need a further midfield player in the middle for the season ahead.. ie suspensions, injuries , form, tactics etc etc....Chappers for exampleand ........For me that player would be Howson from Leeds... Well done NA and NC for the brave choice of our Manager... Good guess derry boy;) Ps The decision to retain David Connolly for this season albeit after a good end to the season..... Shrewd, clever, astute..or very lucky.....Whatever brave and commendable on the part of The Manager and CEO... Well done NA and NC 10 / 10 keep up the good work.....

:rolleyes:Chappers is a real angel and would not doooo anyone... At most, needs to hold back very slightly and he will be even more effective.. Times to jockey and times to hit hard...... Seen many of those in the premier go without punishment and at most what I saw was a yellow card and a finger wagging... Last week we saw many Dirty Leeds challenges go unpunished..

Definite fan of his......Winger and striker.....Although he was pulled up by the ref...I thought he held the centr Half off admirably. He may have to adjust slightly but felt he was not going to let the man foul him everytime... Saints may well have a gem in De Ridder.......He is going to alarm most defences... Well done Saints...

I am so impressed with De Ridder I have forgotten AOC already.....Good luck to the lad.... De Ridder will be a big star for us on the wing or up front... We have more talent coming through as well....

Agree with the above.... Ward-Prowse Shaw and would add......Sinclair, Isgrove, Hoskins and ottery to the list of future world class players... The bit about ottery might be a slight exegeration.....

Like many supporters I am so pleased to know that we have four very good midfield players to select from.. Let us hope they all stay on top of their game and give the Manager selection headache every week. To be fair derry.....our Manager tends to agree with most Saints supporters in that Hammond is an integral part of the side and respected by his team mates....He will be in the side more often than not...let us hope the other midfielders Morgan and Chappers push Cork and Hammond all the way...

derry...... you need to go to specsavers. If you have based your comments on Hammond over watching him for two seasons then you have been watching someone else...

On the whole a fair and accurate report of the game.......but not by many of their fans.... I thought the ref was bad for both sides......

Hammond is Captain and first name on the team sheet. Very good reason for that as he gives his all every game and is a vital player for us. WIFM........BY GOD WE SURE DID... I am not saying Morgan is not a good player. Running down his contract on paper and not his performance which is ok.... Horses for courses and we have a choice of the four for two places.... If Morgan develops his game he will be a good player but not automatic selection at the moment. My opinion is that NA will start with Cork and Hammond if both fit. Good dilema for NA for certain games...Leeds is a no brainer:rolleyes: De Ridder in the team with Lambert and Connolly up front.. The manpower will change according to form fitness and tactics....Pleased we have an even stronger squad now.....
