There are even games where I would play Seaborne with Jaidi ..for the battering lump and Fonte as the third centre half come defensive midfielder.. Pushing Spiderman forward or out on certain away games.. Fonte would have been a lot better in that position just in front of the back four against Exeter.... Allowing the full backs to push on.. Horses for courses and the coach knows best..... WIFM

Saints win 4-1...please..

A picture is worthe a thousand words.. Basically Hammond is saying NO tongues Rikeee..

Just back from the game here in sunny Devon.. Saints supporters quiet after a throaty match against United.....but came to life after the goals.. Saints win and get three points and that is all that mattered at the final whistle... As always a tacky old pitch which did not help wing play or flowing football. Exeter played their hearts out and for long periods outplayed and outfought us...Crowding the middle.. Too often as in many other games we are never first to the loose ball..and appear on many situations to think after the Exeter player has made it his....catch up time thereafter.. Our midfield was outplayed by the three midfielders of Dunne, Sercombe and Harley.. Hammond is needed in the middle for these battling matches.. Both Spiderman and Chaplow worked hard but always chasing and no time on the ball to control the middle. In otherwards very scrappy and lots of effort was shown to keep going.. But from my place behind the goal although tired and leggy at times... i always thought we could get goals.. Rikee Lambert and Barney worked hard but too often the ball is played into the middle and no one there...usually because Rikee has played it into the middle from the wing..... Alex hit a beauty which scraped the bar but was in and out of the game and no real chance to shine.. Dany on the other wing looks a big strong winger/striker who is going to do alright for us...Worked hard and battled... Good left footed cross for Rikkees first...Subbed..but good to have on the bus..will not be pushed off the ball easily and looks as he will unsettle defences with his direct/determined running..Very good effort for his first start/game.. Rikkee as with his goals he had the beating of the defence in the air.. But should be more central as with Barnard.. Their goal looked offside but lino nowhere to be seen....and Kelvin..where did he go and Jose could not get back.. They also had a couple of chances and one particular big save by Kelvin made up for his lapse in the first half... His Distribution of the ball could improve with more long speedy throw outs...hesitates. Butters and Harding worked very hard at full back but some tired legs....Butters good cross balls into the area and to his own side..better distribution than Richey.. Fonte and Jaidi worked hard and Jaidi does not miss much but his leg speed is slowing down....Seaborne on 10 minutes earlier would have helped as with Hammond.. Who Made a goal and battled....He suits these type of games with his spirit and determination.. Adkins switch of tactics and turning fading team into winning never give up spirit..good..subs earlier would have helped... Love to have Lallana back for his guile, trickery and hold onto the ball style to unlock defences..we miss him.. Also look forward to seeing Forte in this team/squad.. Referee as always poor...... Hope I haven't missed anything.. ottery was brilliant with his coaching..

I will never forgive him if..he was wearing, A Go Wilde 'T' shirt under his top clothing... Now if it was a I luv Rupert 'T' shirt..I would luv him forever.... PS He did burppp sometimes... Other than that he was a very good footballer.. Better than most..well an awful lot we have had at Saints...

Will give 10/10 after we have beaten Exeter 4-0.....and a further 6 points off Posh and Carlisle.. Til then 7 and 3/4...Keep going our Nigel..

Antonio and Forte...both unpredictable....very difficult for any defence... Hope Forte does it for the mighty Saints.. Someone must know why Antonio is not really getting a look in back at Reading.... Is it that he now has a good contract or horses for courses and not fitting in with their style.... Who cares ..we now have the potential of Trust House Forte... Come on you Saints...3 points at Exeter..Pleaser..

Agree with above, Midfielder Anthony Pulis and Goalkeeper, Tommy Forecast.. would be very good for Blackpool..... You can have these two for free...... We pay their travel..no problem... Part exchange...We will take your Blackpool Tower...but you can leave it in situ..

Very good footballer and I strongly believe Holloway will get the best out of this talented lad.. He was a Pardew signing and for whatever reason not really in Adkins plans... Good luck to the lad and to Blackpool.. Hope Beattie finds some form for you lads... We have two very talented lads in Lallana (back from injury soon) and Chamberlain and two very good back ups..possibly.. AND two or three top class youth players ready to make the break through next season... 3 points tonight please Saints..
